"Sometimes restraint is the hardest move"
Cops like this are dangerous
The officer went against the DA orders, harassed a man who was simply in his home not interfering with nobody, busted open his door without a warrant? Yea he had it coming
he knew the guy was selling dope. but there were better procedures to follow… and he SHOULDNT have gone alone.
Bro did I just watch these guys die?! I can’t watch this it screws with my head
I do not support drug dealers.
Cop deserved that tbh , no permit and forced entry into my residence , idc who you are , I feel threatened and you’ll feel iron
This seems so freakin petty.
Officer completely in the wrong,…he knew where and who he was, why the drama??!!!
I understand how breaking down their door wasn't the right way to handle that situation, but it definitely doesn't justify shooting at the cop several times?
This was hard to watch.
Some people should not be police officers
34 years of service…if he started this career at 18 he'd be how old???..and you mean to tell me his age was what when this unfortunate situation happened????
You cant shoot a cop… smh
Dang……im on team Buck here folks. This officer was way out of line imo.
I can’t believe it took getting shot to take this guy down he seems to incompetent to survive ordinary life
Let’s just remember if this person was darker in color it would’ve been a national news kind of thing. This shows you the bias and media coverage when a white guy gets killed.
Why did the wife have to take a drug test?
Hard one to call I think. It seems the area did not have a priority to ridding the community of drugs, not enough police on the force, and drug dealers getting too much freedom to keep dealing. I mean, come on, your McDonald's gets shut down because of meth contamination? This dealer was living right by children? There's no good way this could be solved, because one of the ways is just ignoring the main problem. Bad situation.
That's what happens when you don't have a warrant. Sucks for both of them.
I could be wrong but Im pretty sure I dealt with that (ex)cop before. I pretty sure he wrote me a ticket while I was fixing a trailer. the plug had gotten pulled out of while driving. I was at parts store parking lot and the officer wrote me for having inoperable lights not a fix it ticket.
Just because you’ve got a badge doesn’t make you all of a sudden able to violate the constitution you swore to uphold and defend. I honestly think the cop should be in prison but no blind loyalty is what saved him sad really sad
He had no business breaking in without a warrant,at that point the dude have every right to shoot him and treat him as a threat, that cop was breaking the law they are supposed to uphold it not abuse it and in this case he paid for it
One bad apples ruins the rest. No one in that town will see that department the same anymore
fancy words to describe a warrantless entry. So everyone understands, even if a cop has reason to arrest you he can not enter your home without a warrant. Even if that cop has a warant to enter your home to arrest you and you are in someone else's home, he needs a warrant to enter that home. If you are outside your home and the officer tells you that you are under arrest and you flee into the home, that is exigent circumstances and he can follow you.
I was in this exact same situation over 2 corrupt cops and they tried to kick down my door without a warrant, the sound of s shotgun racking was enough to convince them to go get a warrant. ALL CHARGES DROPPED
Honestly the cop shouldn’t have been there. If he died it would be his own fault
There's absolutely no reason to break down a door over a misdemeanor, and even less without an arrest warrant. This could've been a citation sent by mail.
"fly high my son" he can fly as high as he wants, he still aint gonna make it out of hell
What the hell
How is it that nearly everyone voted to take his badge and authority away, but he wasn't found guilty?
Cop found out what the second amendment is about first hand
The cops are the real criminals
It's a shame that tyrant is still standing.
The cop 💯 escalated that situation and forced it into a deadly confrontation. He should have waited him out and picked him up sometime when he was out and about not going in alone into an unknown situation behind a locked door when there was no deadly threat at that point.
Its a shame that poor homeowner had a criminal force his way in.
If it wasn't for the lawsuit he'd still have his job, is that what it takes to hold him accountable?
Good I'm glad the officer got shot it's his own fault 😂😅😂 he got what was coming for him for braking in to a house he had no right to 🎉
This was so unnecessary. He lied, but that doesn't warrant breaking down his door and illegal entry. No exigent circumstances existed. No backup and going against advice. Unnecessary and here's the result. Was all of this really worth getting some guy for lying?
Good for the officer
ACAB. Too much talking to explain what he did. His ego had him break laws and it resulted in someone being dead. How many damn videos do we have to see of police doing the “wrong” thing. It’s time you all begin holding yourselves to a higher standard. Follow the laws and quit moving the damn goalposts to suit your actions. Qualified immunity protects killers and abusers. Prove me wrong. I got receipts as you all like to say.
This cop being on the force for so long should know to be putting a tourniquet on as soon as the threat is down…. he's was loosing blood fast. 2 and a half liters of blood loss is a death sentence for a normal person, for an in shape person its a 50/50 chance to survive.
Power can take your life
Wife should go to prison for life. She could have saved them.
SO the SGT instincts were right? NOW, the SGT shouldn't have handled it like THIS at all!
Officer had no legal authority to enter the home to effect an arrest without a warrant. When you are in your home the officer must have a warrant period.
