I broke my spine 7 years ago and now I have a rod with 4 bolts along either side of my spine, it doesnt normally bother me except for when I lift something heavy from the ground, or even when I work on something where i have to bend over a lot my lower back gets tired real easy, so I'm looking for an exercise to strengthen my lower back without causing more damage

    Lay down, do leg lifts, both at the same time and alternating one leg at a time (left,right,left,right). Starting out, you can put your hands flat under your buttocks to help, also can grab the sides of your pant legs. This workout is meant for lower abs but it helped my lower back wonderfully
