I have been trying to explain and show my buddy this, but he insists on being in the gym for 3 hours, supersetting and doing 6 sets each 😅 wild 1 set will do you.!
You know whats a waste of time? Listening to you. And that doesn't come from gregs current situation against you, thats just a reminder, I knew always that you treat a random recent study like a divine holy book of truths, and you change opinions like pair of socks. Fallacy of authority is blowing up on this one.
I can only go 2 times a week.. Friday night for like 2-3 hours.. and then Saturday for 2-3.5 hour.. I feel like you CAN build muscle with 30 minute sessions.. but you have to build so much more when you’re able to push you muscles further and you can train specific muscles when you have more time.. also I was fat for like 3 years.. so I do include like 45 minutes of cardio
how correlates study about experienced trainees and getting in shape? if you are experienced trainee you are already in some shape, if not this is straight way to injuries
Who tf says this? Never heard of this so called myth? Influencers are always creating fake problems so they can seem more helpful when offering unsolicited advice. 😕
Watching this after a solid 4 hour gym session is so funny. Yes, what he said is true, but if you genuinely enjoy the exercise it can be fun to just destroy yourself a few times a week. Usually it's only 1.5-2hrs 4-5 days a week but I missed a day so I made up for it.
This is what I plan on doing a few years from now after I get where I want to be. But some exercise I can still see myself doing a lot more. (Yes, I already workout.)
I wonder if you do warm up sets or just have a general big whole-body warmup? 30 minutes sounds great, but hard sets without a warmup seem to make you prone to injuries
Maybe this is good advice for people who can't find the time to exercise frequently. But I have done 2/week, 3/week, and 4/week cycles and I gain far far more strength and visible definition in the 4/week cycles. It's not that 2/week isn't "worth it" but I find it impossible to believe if you can four 4 45 minute sessions a week, that isn't better than 2.
Im training 2-1 (2 days workout 1 day rest) I train triceps/shoulders , chest/ABS, and biceps/back, usually I end about in 30 min, been traning for half a year and definitely seeing the results, every training is better than none
This is true. ive been going to gym for a year now, 2-3 times a week and at max 45-50 min sessions and ive gotten stronger and look better.
Ever try no show socks? Not hating, just a thought. 😉
On any given day I spend 3 hours at the gym
Mike Mentzer was right!!!😊
This isn’t a myth and has never been one since the 1970’s I don’t get why this is called a myth. You do what you can with the time that you have.
Steve reeves did it like that
Mike mentzer was right and they called him a madman
Your voice is irritating
I try and lift heavy. So a session of 6 exercises, ~3 sets each, NEVER take me any less than two and a half hours 😔
Mike Mentzer said this decades ago, and people thought he was nuts!
High volume high intensity
I remember hearing Ronnie Coleman talk about how he would spend only 45 minutes in the gym
Some of my best workouts have been 30 minutes
heavy duty training as Mike Mentzer said

went to the gym for the first time in 6 years today, and only did a 30 minute upper body workout and had to call it for the day. but it's progress!
I like lifting. 30 min, 2 times a week? Pass. But good to know for when you're in a tight time situation.
This just proving mike mentzer was right low key

Hail Mike Mentzer

Bro I needed this advice.😊

Who's here after Solomon?
I just push myself 4 days a week and train for 1 hour per session.. 1 hour and 15 min on average
Give Mike mentzer his flowers
I work out between 15 and 45 minutes depending on my energy levels if I’m full of energy I’m in and out 15
Tell that to my coach firend whom stays in the gym for 2 hours 🤣
So basically Greg’s workout style
The shirt makes him go from Jeff nippard to Jeff Nipple
Edit: Jeff NipsHard
My brain won’t let me do this
i like escaping my life and putting out anger and stress towards the deadlift bar for 2 hours

A study showing low volume training is effective and of course my boy Dr Pak is in the list of authors
Me: 2-3 minutes between sets…get interrupted by people I know, next thing you know, an hour has gone by! 😂
That shirt is trippy. Looks like a black shirt with a blue undershirt showing.
Someone just discovered Heavy Duty.
As if Mike Mentzer didn't illuminate us with his wisdom decades ago.
At least 3x for one year is not “experienced”. They still have neubie gains
Wow a new study that Mike Menzer knew 50 years ago.
Mike Mentzer was on some wild shit!
