  2. one more way to make your lateral raises better is by doing them from behind your body, so instead of the cable in front of you it’s behind you. For me it has worked slightly better.

  4. Maybe a dumb take I’m about to offer but isn’t it obvious that cuffs make it easier? The point of contact is closer to your shoulder and basic leverage physics says that will be easier. Doesn’t really mean your shoulder is getting worked harder.
