Warner Bros. needs to include this in a 4K release sometime. Hell Paramount restored the original Miramax logos in some of their 4K releases among other studios doing the same thing
Maybe WB could include this in a 4K release sometime in the distant future? Paramount restored the original intros in some Miramax 4K releases among other studios doing the same thing
Maybe the first film to use the 1994 New Line Cinema logo was "The Mask", directed by Chuck Russell and starring Jim Carrey as Stanley Ipkiss/The Mask.
This is verified to be true

Doesn't look too real
Wow
You own film prints? Nice!
I feel like this theme song works better with this version of the logo
If New Line Cinema Release It Instead Of Itself
The 1987 New Line Cinema logo in 1:1 aspect ratio!?
yes should you upload 35mm clips of The Mask?
This Is Great!
Now find the original prints for Dumb and Dumber.
Ahhhh 35mm🥺
Do you have end credits for this print?
0:03–0:08 that’s my favorite old logo from new line cinema.
A film that needs to be rescanned, hopefully Shout can handle the new version if they get their hands on it. So that this film can be presented the way it was before Ted Turner got his hands on the 1987 animated Filmbox and replaced it with the CGI one.
BTW I think the CGI Filmbox is one of the best film logos of all time. But since you provided evidence the 1987 logo opened this, I always thought that the US may had this logo plastered with the CGI before the US theatrical release in July and European prints mostly the UK ones kept it the way it was before July of that year. But I think you may have been onto something all this time LunaRacc.
