  1. Thank you, Doctor! Thanks for understanding all of us who go through such states of mind . As for me I keep blaming myself for all the wrong things that happen to me . No wonder I get rare pains around my body at times and then it passes off. So now I know! Thanks once again, Doctor!

  2. Thank you for the talk on epigenetics. Great explanation. I love your tips – I love to get outside and walk with my dog. The analogy of picking up your bag and then put it down to rest is fantastic. I use prayer, community connections with loved ones and online friends, winding down with essential oils and meditation and yoga. Thank you Dr A!

  3. Wow! It has taken me 10yrs to figure most of this out and you just shared it in such a short time. Like less than 7min. Just wow!
I am encouraged I am on the right track with addressing stress in my life and slowing down as a post menopausal woman.
I have spent the majority of my life in the fight and flight mode. I have slowed down but it's so much more than just slowing down.
    Thank you for this!

  4. Hey there, thanks for this video, I tend to be overthinking of issues, recently, about health issue, therefore, if you could, please do up mediation video if this is not too much to ask for
Anyway, love your videos always and thanks for the update and appreciate your efforts!

  5. Wow. This is exactly what I needed to hear today. My stress level has increased and the hours I sleep have lessened since covid19. I know I need to do better FAST.

  6. Can’t control stress during the 8 hour work day. It’s a real struggle to sit at desk 8 hours consumed in stress getting work done quickly to fit in before end of the day. Certainly at beginning or end of day outside and meditation but those 8 hours are difficult to avoid.

  7. Wonderful explanation! It's true, stress will kill you, ignoring it won't make it go away. I have a family member who has meditated for over 30 years. When they stopped, I noticed they were more easily agitated, not sleeping well and they had sleep disruption. I proposed, a) resume meditation b) no alcohol during the week, moderate consumption on the weekend, c) walk every day when you get home from work d) reduce negative influences, people, news. Hopefully, that will help.
Thank you for so generously sharing content!

  8. Such good advice and it's really easy to forget all this stuff and fall into some kind of hole. These good habits really will help people! try them.

  9. I was teaching students about the dangers of stress during their anatomy classes over twenty years ago and still the lack of knowledge persists! Chinese and Japanese medicine addresses this whole person approach very well but western medicine is just about medicine and not about the holistic approach. Super good work Dr A !

  10. I really like the idea of going for a walk right when you get up. Fresh air! Then meditation or prayer. That just sounds like the way a day should start. Sometimes the stress is so heavy I feel numb. This was a great video to make. 🙏🏻
