  1. Only in US cul-de-sacs are the size of a small city. Also I'm a bit disappointed that there wasn't a stock sound of led pipe hitting the ground edited in.

  2. You could see the guy putting something in his back pocket right after he got out of his truck. I’m sure the officer noticed that as well and if it had been me I would have been wondering if it was a gun he was hiding or a knife. Officer made the only choice he could.

  3. Chapman was up to something. I am glad the officer is OK. Remember Officer Hare? "I need help, man" was the same trap the perp used to approach and murder him. The better man lived today.

  4. The thing that pisses me off about cops shooting people with knives and pipes is that if I did that to protect myself I would be arrested and charged with murder. There is a different standard of justice for the police.

  5. Some people in the comments saying maybe the man is confused because his sugar level is low.
How do you expect the officer to assess that???? We have the benefit of hindsight video, but when you are actually in the moment faced with possible threat you do your best to assess, however, you give priority to your life.

  6. That is what scares me – a guy who ignores commands and keeps coming at you. You don’t know what he’s got, so if you delete him and he’s unarmed, you’re screwed. But if he is fast and good and has a knife or gun, you could also be REALLY screwed.

  7. If you look at video of police in many other countries…their Law Enforcement routinely disarms suspects who have knives, swords, and many other weapons without shooting them. This coward cop killed a 65yr old guy who was only armed with a lead pipe. Smh.

Why is American Law Enforcement so Broke back and nellie-necked?

  8. You can tell he had mental issues, You hear him say I need help the gentlemen was no harm to the police officer, The police officers need more training in older citizens for their issues. I have seen videos showing police officers mistreat the elder and people with disabilites. RIP Chappy

  9. How much do officers have to endure. It’s awful how quickly they have to decide what is the best thing to do at the time. I’m happy that nothing happened to the officer. Rip

  10. Quite a difference in reactions between a white dude with a pipe and a darker dude with a gun or knife who gets the same treatment and then resulting in community uproar, Congress kneeling in solidarity and Al Sharpton parading around like an angry cock spewing "systemic racism" tropes.

  11. Officer protect your Mental.Health too. What a night. You had to shoot him. He had a knife. Bless you baby. Your valued so much. Do not feel quilt. You werein a terrible Situation. You gave him commands. But he did not listen. Bless you honey.

  12. Why did the cop not have bodycam? The driver of the suv looked frail, unsteady on his feet which could be from intoxication or a medical condition and did ask the officer for help. I think due to his inexperience the Officer overreacted and did not correctly assess the situation . Also if the officer was the one who went over to search the van he was a burly guy and could have easily overpowered the driver. This inexperienced cop should not have been on his own and if he had a colleague with him this death could have been avoided. I have complete respect for the police dept but in this situation mistakes were made. RIP to the driver and 🙏🙏s to him and the officer.
