For abs i think the better workout would be bicycle crunches, it covers the upper and lower abs and the obliques. Those v crunches that you did only cover the upper and lower abs

You don’t need to excessively work out everyday. Just have a good diet, work out sesh for an hour, and in months you will have a 4 pack.
