  1. The DB pull over is an often-overlooked old-school movement that I hardly see anymore. You'll see those guys in prison yards or Gold's gym do them. You won't see people in 24 hr. or Planet fitness do them. The stretch is very unique and different from the pull down because of where tension is greatest. It does get the Pecs but is great for Lats and as a recovery/mobility movement from sitting at a desk or squatting/deadlifting. But yeah, women love delts and back.

  2. If only I could do 2 ull ups. Havent exercised ib 36 yrs and want to get back at it at 60 and been told not healthy and womt do me any good at this age and dont bother.

  3. Great video. But I’m surprised you don’t emphasise how important the stretch portion of back exercises are. It’s more important than the squeeze. Lots of recent studies show this.

  4. Can you please explain how desdliaft Helped your degenerative disk disease? I've been weight traing for 30+ years, and was diagnosed with degenerative disk disease about20 years ago. The only deadlifts I can do w/o severe pain is sumo deadlifts. I wear a belt but even then I have back pain with sumo deadlifts. I know each persons' body is different, but would love to hear more about your experience "curing" you degenerative disk disease through weight training. Thanks for the video!

  5. Question: When doing the 3 different grips on the pull up bar, how many sets of each? Do you perform all 3 one after another as a circuit? Or perform multiple sets of one, then move on to another?

  6. My alternative, so to speak, is to use high quality pull up assist bands. That way I can do the movement with good form. I much prefer that over pull downs.

  7. Really appreciate your videos! Would love to see a detailed breakdown of how to do dead lifts, especially with dumbbells, since that's my only option. Wouldn't hurt to compare the movement to squats as well. Thanks again!
