  2. I am just getting into resistance bands and looking to create muscle that USED to be there. Yes, I’ve let myself go some. I’m not fat, but I am NOT in shape. I’m looking forward to seeing the results.

  3. Resistence excersizes is important to an extent. However, I don’t think it increases anything. Repetitive training enhances the muscles, that’s all.

    With that being said: you’re only training for what the muscle is used for, similarly to (any) sports trainings. This helps twitch fibre muscles, joints, and muscle is less taxed & laboured due to muscle memories overtime.

  4. Former powerlifter now on the precipice of age 50 and my current regimen:

    – Calisthenics (Weighted Calisthenics): 70%
    – Resistance Bands: 20%
    – Free Weights: 10%
    – Machines: 0%

    I’m also doing Keto and Intermittent Fasting and weigh the same as I did at age 18 but better body composition and I do NOT have to do cardio to stay lean. I do HIIT for cardiovascular health though.

    I should have adopted this training method long-time ago.
