Low key that was wack, only because it should be fitness related not hipster related comercial
Damn, the girl models are fucking hot!
these models look like they've never touched a weight…
when will the look book with nadeem come out?
Does anyone know where that racerback leather vest is from with the zipper in the front and pockets?
katherine laprell is fine asf
I agree with everyone else, this isn't the way (in my opinion) the apparel should be branded. This is BARBELL BRIGADE. While true that its not just about power lifting and body-building, barbell is about doing some sort of physical training fin order to maintain some sort of fitness. They should market it like how Nike markets their clothes; Sport oriented but also fashionable at the same time. This just seems like regular fashion, which is fine but just seems like it separates completely from its original inspiration.
plz does some1 know this song?
I don't know why people hate so much… me personally I like the fact that the barbell brigade brand isn't trying to be boxed in as just gym apparel
Why can I not order?!
Well. I think they are still cute, whether or not they lift. Plot Twist: They're all actually elite lifters that squat and dead 4x their bodyweight.
they thought asians, latinos, blacks, non-white, etc. wouldn't sell? eh
0:18 daaaaamn
Song name?
i love it
Everyone who's complaining about how ''they aren't even power lifters'' you have to realise that if they want to succeed as a clothing company they have to also appeal to the general public, they're being professional. They aren't just selling stuff as fan merch they want to expand their clothing brand. You know of their apparel because you fallow this channel. These adds are meant for people who don't know about it. And no the merch is not just for power lifters.
Pandering. No brand identity.
I love and respect barbell I just felt like this add should of been thought out more I think they could of made it way better by showing clips of Bart and geo in DTLA or Nadeem and Lou or Cerro and just other gym goers at the beach around a bomb fire playing an acoustic or in the woods camping they could of showed people warring the brand in the gym and then people warring the brand outside the gym showing that not only is this brand worn at the gym but it can also be worn on the streets I think that would of been a whole lot better
love it, Geo and Bart…taking it to a whole new level…keep grinding….
If you check out the Instagrams of each model, they all are casual commercial gym goers. So yeah, they do lift, they're just not serious powerlifters or weightlifters. It would be cool to see some famous athletes model the apparel though!
Before you guys criticize on why they didn't use people who lift as models, you guys need to understand what a 'lookbook' is. I have a friend whose parents own a wetsuit manufacturing company. When they needed to produce a new catalog they didn't use actual scuba divers as models, they hired professional models.
i thought i was watching an Avicii music vid
I would … but a simple hat costs like 40 bucks… no thx
why no asian models? the whole JK crew mostly asian
I didnt know silent mike models…
0:18 thanks me later
okay troll mode: Black models i guess toward white ppl??
this is really good and all, but imagine this with fucken Lu, bart, nadeem, bradley martin and the rest of the swole patrol ft. the fit chicks that go to barbell (not including geo)
Block out the haters! I like the new direction for the apparel line! Super high quality ad, well done!
https://www.instagram.com/ashley.valenzuela/ thank me later
so our target market is white ppl? why not stick some asian models in
Why so many white people… why?
Actually I love it. This is totally outside the box and I am sure BB is a gym outside the box. Keep up the good stuff. Great idea and excellent execution.
asian owned company.. uses a bunch of hipster white models. yup.
Love the ad. Always supporting Barbell Brigade. Of course people are complaining but who gives a fuck because people are gonna buy your products. Love the music and it seemed so professional.
Nice AD But Not Branded to the rite audience
I get that Barbell Brigade i trying to make clothes everyone can wear both in the gym and out on the street, just like the owners and crew do , but I would think having people that at least look like they have been near a barbell or are someway in decent shape who look like semi hipsters and regs would have been better in the clothes and the branded clothes. plenty of fitness models who have a decent fashion sense. I do like the advert though, well shot and ting!
