Bastard got a measly 3 year prison sentence ! Probably got out in 18 months. Horrendous outcome for a killer !
20 years old and retains a private attorney, not an appointed attorney. So mom and dad are trying to bail him out of the trouble he got himself into. He’s another entitled rich kid who won’t pay the ultimate consequence for his action. He’s another Ethan Couch. Who after drinking and driving on a suspended license drove off the road and killed four people and injured nine others. The judge in that case gave him…are you ready for it….probation. And when he got caught drinking and violating his parole his mother took him and the two of them flew off to Mexico so he could avoid the consequences of that. Ultimately they were caught, and he served two years for violating his parole. His mother serve time as well. But he served absolutely no time for killing four people and injuring nine others.
I can’t someone would actually think the officer should be arrested for risking his life and trying to stop that wrong way driver. No good deed goes unpunished, as they say.
Wow……. 🤦🏻♂️
Stop talking omg.
Dang
Yep
The wrong way driver only received 3 1/2 years for vehicular manslaughter.
That’s so sad…one life over, one life ended…forever changed and having to live with the fact you killed someone.
If you CHOOSE to drink and drive & cause an accident, especially today when there are so many alternatives, you deserve a maximum sentence. It’s not an accident, it’s premeditated because everyone knows that driving under the influence is dangerous.
The felon had better be spending a long time in prison. Whoever raised that degenerate is a failure as a parent, I mean how else could he have posted bail if he wasn't a pathetic trust fund baby or something, and whoever helped him post that bail and hire private attorneys is without morals. The police should actually never have to deal with this, as in citizenry shouldn't put them in this kind of danger, and the trolls criticizing the police are probably just mad because they can't hurt people with impunity when such quality public servants are sacrificing themselves for others.
His parents. His parents are how he got out and hired a private attorney.
1:43 I love the comment “he didn’t enter from a ramp”. Those spaces are specifically for emergency vehicles. The cops are supposed to be there. 😂😂😂😂
I assume the rest of them didn’t realize the guy was driving the wrong way.
Call me an asshole for this, but in my late teens i drove drunk damn near everyday (not anymore). Im talking from buzzed to 0.30-0.40 bac. Never would i find myself driving wrong way on the freeway ESPECIALLY after cops are chasing me. There is literally zero excuse for this stupidity. And quite honestly even when drunk you make a conscious decision whether to drive safe and pay attention, or drive reckless with zero care.
sorry don't bring back lost souls …
Joseph Paul Maness only got three years for this.
Now you can’t always blame this on parents, there are just some kids that will defy any rules, mostly being influenced by others.
This is why ppl really need to stop voting for there party and start voting on someone that’s going to make it impossible for these ppl to bond out, and do your research on what judges you are voting for instead of just checking boxes if you want things to change, this could be your family member. He should’ve have even been offered bail.
as sad as the whole thing is why couldn't the other vehicle get out of the way? neither am i sure that he / she braked (no slowdowns to be seen in relation to the black pickup truck nor did the lights go on). neither did he / she react to the fact that a vehicle just drove past the black pickup in front of him.
The driver of the Jeep (Joseph Paul Maness) 20-year-old should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and hopefully will spend many years in prison. I can imagine that it was his parents who posted the 150 K bond, perhaps they should have let him sit in jail for a while. Thats just my thought on the matter.
Thanks!
It would be nice if DOT could engineer auto spike strips that state patrol could activate in roadway.
am i the only damn person who supports cops when they say fuck the rules and ram the suspects off the roads when theres safe space to do so instead of trying roling roadblocks or just attaching a tracker.
am i the only 1 who thinks "right we have someone disregarding ANYONE ELSES safety get them off the road asap"
