Throwing a baby was unnecessary….
This female is a vile and loathsome sociopath, but I am just as mad about the parents who don't want her charged. What! The! Hell! And what kind of progressive pissmop did they elect to prosecutor in this county? Parent's don't want charges, tough crap, the protection of the defenseless is in the interest of the state and she tried to drown a kid so she should get charges. Husband is probably terrorified of her and was grateful of at least one quiet night; if he divorces her, he'll probably have to pay alimony.
A lot of problems arise from not pressing charges, so I certainly would.

It’s amazing how she “cries” about being sat in the back of the car but thought nothing of throwing a whole ass human.
If I was that baby's father, I don't think I'd be pressing charges, either.
I'm not a lawyer, but I don't think you can press charges on drowned corpses.
TV and stuff have it very wrong very often – ACTUAL DROWNING IS TERRIFINGLY SILENT.
IT IS QUICK, THERE'S OFTEN NO ACTUAL 'SOUND' WHEN THEY SINK UNDERWATER, AND CHILDREN ARE LOST VERY QUICKLY TO INATTENTIVENESS OR ROUGHHOUSING IN POOLS AND OCEANS.
Yes, some children can float and paddle around a LITTLE, being in a womb all that time does create some instinctive water movements and holding breath when water is over the nose. This does NOT equate to actually being able to swim in most cases unless they spend a LOT of time swimming after they are born.
of course, this all ignores the first and more obvious transgression – WHY WOULD YOU EVEN TOUCH A CHILD THAT IS NOT YOURS?!?!
