I can't believe this girl was allowed to get away with this kind of violence. Probation is a slap in the face to the officer who was injured during this fiasco, and all it does is let young people know they can also get away with hurting people and police officers.
We need prosecutors who aren't willing to plea down when there's substantial evidence against the suspect.
