In all honesty I remember my first time seeing TYT on YouTube at a buddies house back before Obama first got elected. The argument he made helped me vote for Obama that year. But the promises Obama made were lies. It turned me away from politics and I didn't watch it for years.
I didn't know who Cenk was until I saw him again in 2019 when I started watching the news on YouTube again.
Over the years, life experiences led me down a more conservative road. I found I had principals, and when I looked more into how my principals stood up they leaned heavily on the conservative side.
Pretty funny considering I went from a Gutterpunk grunge junkie to a Capitalist Libertarian purely by staying true(ish)to the punk anthem "f*** the government!"
