This video was supposed to go live about a month ago but issues with copyright had it delayed! Enjoy anyways! Do your part and like the video 🙂
you sohuld've ended the video with "War"
People agreeing with the politics of the Starship Troopers world remind me of people enlisting in the military because they played the Metal Gear Solid games. Like, can’t you see that the entire point of this piece of media was to subvert this? That they will manipulate you into doing what they want you to do and then toss you aside?
0:17 Lmao, u like Starship Troopers but you play Hell Divers 2 😂😂😂… There's a game out there called Starship Troopers Extermination lol

I mean… Rico does actually.. his home is destroyed, he doesn't have a place to go back to now, family is gone and dead. What else can he actually realistically do besides serve?
i get that this content has two metas, but in that sense of applying real world logic wouldn't kind of tare a bunch of fantasy down and validate new fantasy that destroyed the previous. like sometimes you just watch the content because has nothing to do with our world/universe, cause it's sci-fi or fantasy. then if you apply real world principles it would take something like power of the rings by amazon and it would make the original lord of the rings as wrong. cause like in the amazon show they say orcs are just like us, with children and romance, rather than being corrupted beings of pure evil like in the original. now i do like the commentary you have and it is kind of up to the audience to draw that line of applying real world to the content they consume cause they can just turn of their mind and just simply enjoy it cause it's an isolated world. or they can apply real world mechanics and make a piece of media and make it depressing, apologies if i didn't articulate myself.
I wish we had commercials by the bugs to see their propaganda. I just think it would be funny to see bugs with subtitles with crudely made human dolls fighting them.
It’s action packed.
Epic.
Hilarious.
And educational about the dangers of militarism while also being a fun film.
The video above this was "wide as an lake, but deep as a puddle." 😅 Which perfectly describes everything starship troopers.
That was NOT Dean Norris😭💀
I was introduced to Starship Troopers wen I was 9. My father rented it out and wanted to introduce me to the film. Till this day I rewatch it and the sequel's.
Funny enough, I do like how the animated movie's one, in particular, that takes place years into the future, kind of shows that people are not really all in on what the federation is doing when the lies start putting civilians and worlds in danger. Like they plan to blow up Mars with an E-bomb because the current sky marshal wanted to get her rating up to give her more power, even letting a bug invasion slip so deep into human territory. This all blew up in her face that even the newscaster guy who always says, "Would you like to know more?" Just tells the viewers to think for yourself and not do what others are telling you to think.
StarCraft 1 soundtrack 🤤
I had such a pleasure hearing starcraft terran soundtrack over this review :)))
6:25 I could actually see that work😂😂😂😂
I was way too young to be watching this on realest the way that I was. Lmao
For the act man if he ever reads this,
I feel that Johnny got further entrenched in the idea that the bugs are his enemy because it was to cope and deal with the pain he feels deep down, knowing all his friends he had are dead and that fully being brainwashed in the idea is what helps he feel better about it feel like he is avenging them righteously.
That's just my observation anyone else could see it different
Around 16 minute mark.
Alot of us felt that in Afghanistan.
3 tours. USMC. 13th MEU.
Thing I was most annoyed about was this was a 15 when it came out in the cinema. I was 14 at the time, parents wouldnt go. So i waited for the home release. And it was an 18. And my parents wouldn't buy it. Had to wait four years
That's not Dean Norris that Michael Ironside aka Sam Fisher
Fascist Man Here! Whaaaat?! 😮
Finally watched it the other day and bought it right away.
6:00 so its that universes version of Battleship? I wanted to join the navy so bad after I watched that movie
Paul Verhoeven's three movie run of Starship Troopers, Robocop, and Total recal are three of my favorite movies of all time. The guy is a legend.
Something i haven't seen brought up enough in the comments is that the asteroid defence ring was not built at the time of buenos aires destruction. The beginning of the movie is a flashforward showing the ring that was built in response to the asteroid destroying buenos aires to prevent something like that happening again.
just as an fyi if you find yourself cheering for the federation you may be a fascist. it truly boggles my mind how one cannot understand that this movie is satire

I fully agree with the film analysis, especially about love and personal interests being insignificant. Rico is genuinely saddened by Diz's death, for me the film's only real love story. But instead of honoring her personal qualities, like devotion, loyalty or support for him, Rico praises the system that caused her death – The system that strips him of individual value and humanity with his own blessing.
To be fair in defense of dropping the bomb we saw a problem and loaded the problem solver nuff said 😂😂😂
The whole starship troopers is an "IN MOVIE" Robocop Advert on the tv.
Think about it n how well it fits in 👍
The teacher never said violence solves everything.
He said "violence is the ultimate authority"
I think his statement is true enough.
Dropping the bomb on Hiroshima literally didn't end the war though lmfao. We have internal documents from the heads of the Japanese military saying that they knew they were basically fucked and there was no way they could win the war. The bombs were dropped on Japan to show the Soviet Union that they were still going to be the most dominant military force on the planet after WW2.
You look like a darker haired version of Lone Star from Spaceballs
Starship-troopers: Star-Trek from a pareal Earth.
I mean if I were built by bugs I wouldn't say it outloud.
lol My family took all of us to see this in theaters when I was 9. Yeah, even the R-rating didn't stop us from seeing this work of art on violence. XD
I disagree with your entire interpretation of this movie and your moral judgements, but It's nice to see someone have a completely different take and still love the film.
He did not say violence is the answer. He said violence is the root of all power, which is correct.
I watched as a 10 year old and thought this is an awesome movie full of action, blood and gore. I watched it 6 years later and still thought this is and still thought this is an wesome movie full of action, blood and gore but also with a strong antifascist message.
I like how the bugs are shown to be dumb and smart at the same time. Rather common propaganda trope where the enemy is inferior to you but still highly competent, controlls everything and is at fault for everything bad in our lives.
Perhaps possible that the false flag operation and war was to go and obtain a brain bug (at great cost) to further human psychic research and development
Dizzy best girl
never heard of this movie before
I have never seen so many hot actors and actresses in a movie wowzers
