Hey, finally a guy with a healthy amount of critical thinking and insight on history.
Man, you wouldn't believe how stale and plain repetitive other channels around these topics are now.
The fact that asimo walked more naturally than any of today's robots (except boston dynamics) is astounding and disappointing.
I honestly feel like if tesla were to buy out Boston dynamics and gave them more funding and resources, the world of IRobot would become a reality
I'm with you on not hitting these robots, it gives children the wrong impression about how to treat others and stuff in general, not a big leap from hitting a robot to hitting a person plus it just looks wrong

I don't see what people's obsession is with defending elon musk and his use of ketamine in the comments section. I didn't mind the jokes, in fact I enjoyed them, but I'm also not someone who would place one person above the rest and musk is no exception: If drug use is prohibited on company premises/on duty, he shouldn't automatically get an exception because he "founded" the company or that he's the CEO of said company. Seems that a lot of people down below in the comments section are into smoking weed and doing other illicit drugs and must also support drivers under the influence on the road. smh

What stupidity. We have been using robots since the first automatic toaster appeared in kitchens. The key here is that the "content provider" is focusing on humanoid robots/artificial intelligence, rather than specific use robots.

All these robots depend on the licensing and OS factors.. I will not buy an Apple type Robot, as Apple will never let go of the real control. It seems that Tesla is on the same path, so that leaves only the Chinese robot, as it will have to function in an era that will increasingly be limited with sanctions.. Actually, 'the genie is out of the bottle', and those that are technologically astute, will get away from this giant marketing scam, as the internet in it's present form will never support (bandwith) that type of past marketing that you are inadvertently proposing.. especially with a population dive that is happening with the present birth rate and the infrastructure replacement that is needed. The other factor that hasn't been factored in is that below the 28-24nm structure (double mask ->14nm) on silicon, the voltages get critically low and the molecular level so small that under 'harsher conditions' survivability and failure rate will play against this technological revolution, as the economy of scale and need for replacement will not make economic sense. just one 'Carrington' event will prove this.
