Hey I'm from nepal the indigenous people of nepal look more like south east asian and east asian if they havent intermixed with indo aryan groups. Due to the brahmins who came to nepal from india during muslim invasion started spreading hinduism and most indigenous peoppe had their own religion culture way of living and eating but because of religion change they have become more like hindu than their indigenous roots

There were three main ethnic groups in India in those days: Austric, Mongolian,(2) and Negroid. In [East] India they all mingled into one. The dark-complexioned non-Aryan Austrics were the original people of India, and thus there is Austric blood in most of the present population of India. The Bengalees, being a mixture of these three groups, evolved in a particular way and developed a particular psychology. They have developed certain morphological characteristics from which one can easily deduce that they are Bengali. Their physical appearance and nature are a result of a special type of blood mixture. Those groups which have mixed blood are generally very intelligent, and the Bengali people are no exception. Besides being intelligent, they have other marked psychological traits which characterize them as Bengalees: they are sports fanatics, even those who do not play any sport themselves, and they are equally mad for open-air theatre and established theatre. These psychological traits result from the integration of the different racial groups.
In the days of Shiva,(7,00 years ago) three ethnic groups intermingled. One was the Austric group, the black non-Aryan people; the second was the Mongolian group who came to India from the north, that is from Tibet and China; and the third was the fair-complexioned Aryan group which entered India from the west. The Aryans are further divided into three groups. The Aryans of the far north are Nordic. Their complexion is reddish-white, their hair is reddish and the irises of their eyes are brown, which is to say also reddish. The second group, the Alpine group, have bluish hair, bluish irises and a pinkish-white complexion. The third group, the Mediterranean group, have a milky-white complexion, black hair and blackish irises. The Aryans who settled in India came mostly from this Mediterranean group, and converged, as mentioned, with the Mongolians from the north [and with the Austrics].

The River Brahmaputra flowed from the interior of Tibet, where its name was Sang Po (Son of a God), into India. In other words, it came from within a Mongolian country. The people of Tibet are Mongolian of the Indo-Tibetan group. The Mongolians are divided into a few branches, one of them being the Indo-Tibetan group. The Brahmaputra, or Sang Po, River carries that Mongolian civilization and not the Gangetic civilization. That Mongolian civilization was criticized by the Aryans in the Karma Puráńa:
“They do not protect cows and Brahmins. They eat fish and meat. When they eat fish, what sort of Aryans are they? By these acts of theirs they have degraded themselves even more. Their style of pronunciation is full of defects.”
The Mongolian civilization that flourished in the Brahmaputra Valley blended with the Ráŕhii civilization and the Gangetic civilization, resulting in a new blended civilization, the Gaoŕiiya or Bengal civilization. Tantra had its origin in such a blended civilization. The Ganges and the Brahmaputra meet at Goyalanda in Bengal. Thus we see that the Bengal civilization is a mixed civilization, a blending of the Gondwana civilization of Ráŕh, the Gangetic civilization of northern India, and the Mongolian civilization of Tibet and China [whose access was via the Brahmaputra Valley]. That is why it is said that this Bengal civilization flourished in the border areas between Jambudviipa and Suvarńadviipa.
In the Bengalee race the blood of these different civilizations is mixed. Because of the blending of Australoid and Dravidoid blood, the people of Bankura, Midnapore and Purulia are mostly dark-complexioned. A certain amount of Mongolian blood is also present. The Bengalee farmers, the Rájvaḿshiis and Chákmás, have come from the Brahmaputra Valley. They are flat-nosed. As a result of the permutation and combination of these various small groups, the various castes and sub-castes of West Bengal emerged
This typical sentimentality is one of the specialities of the Bengali character. The Bengalees, by struggling against the primitive culture of ancient Gondwanaland, the original cultural trend of the Gangetic valley and also the pure Mongolian culture of the Brahmaputra valley, have built a new, integrated Bengalee culture of their own. This typical Bengalee culture emerged about 3000 years ago. That is, about 3500 years ago, the Bengali language had its very old structure. That old structure of the Bengali language, through successive changes, has taken the form of the modern Bengali language. Modern Bengali is about eight hundred to one thousand years old. Thus, after the Bengalees distinguished themselves in so many ways, they thought that the ups and downs of their social life also should be directed in a particular flow, which is neither wholly in conformity with the full-fledged matriarchal system of Gondwanaland, nor the full-fledged patriarchal system of the Gangetic valley nor the Mongolian female-dominated system of the Brahmaputra valley.

The reason why Indian people are so diversed is because for the simple reason that there are 687 different tribes living there for millennia. (All these informations are there in the internet) Some dark skinned tribes even look like African with Afro-hair. The NE people were basically and mostly of Tibetan origins. They originally looked like Tibetans, and Tibetans look like East Asians. Since the arrival of the Brits 200 over years ago, the social structures of the NE has been interrupted by the British (same in Burma). All the NE people need is one generation of admixture with the Indian tribes, they become to look like Burmese or other Austro-SE Asians. This can be illustrated by modern marriages like the present Indian foreign minister with a Japanese wife. See how their son look like? The present Singapore foreign minister is of the same admixture. Just one generation of of admixture, the physical appearance of their offsprings all change instantly. This can be attested in Malaysia, which is very common to see Chinese and Indian (Tamils) inter-marriages. Their off-springs look no different from the Malays, all they have to do is change their religions to Islam, they become instant Malay!
PS : The oldest tribe in India is the Negritoes, they are the indigenous people of the Southern hemisphere which includes Africa. They can be found in the deep jungles of SEA, the Andaman island, Borneo island, the many Indonesian islands, the Phillipines islands, Papua New Guinea, Australia, Brazil and South America as a whole.

The people of Mizoram think they are decendants of China or Mongolia but i'm telling you, they are from South East Asia, i think Sundaland is real and that all south east asians used to lived in Sundaland until the flood. which happen in the last ice age and their city got destroyed and they start to live seperately. There’s no such thing as Dravidian or Aryan. These r artificial names for an artificial theory that has been so suspect and unsubstantiated that it’s now not taken seriously by anyone. The invasion theory is now conclusively bunked. The new fad seems to be the migration theory. This will also be debunked cos it’s a theory that assumes far too much which is not supported by the recent genetic tests.
