Nirvana is the absolute most over rated band. 2 albums of average songs and people say they are in the top 10 bands in history. Yes their music ushered in a new genre of music and killed glam metal, but it wasn’t because their songs were that good. It was just completely different.
Who else was better to carry on after Cobain? It had to be one of his best friends and the man who loved and felt the music like Kurt. Life is often a shame compared to how we planned it. Beautiful people come along periodically to help us see the colors that we were unaware of, though. These people are often the ones who keep us around..it's just a shame that some of us understand where we're supposed to be.
