It seems like all these congressmen know the griff on the illegals tied into the census, so why doesn't at least 1 of them write a bill that divides the census into citizen & non-citizen/visa-holders categories that count them in the census but only the citizens get counted for representation? Non-citizens should not be counted in representation. Fix it & stop the incentive for dirty play by having more & more here, at least in that aspect. Close that loophole. Fix the birthright citizenship issue to close another loophole, and more regulation/consequences on companies caught hiring illegals, and expand the work visa option with the caviat that requires them to pay US taxes on income earned in the US. Then only people that really want to be here and are willing to put in the work & give a little back for the opportunity will be incentified to stay, hopefully. Stop the handouts and crack down hard on fraud. Sorry, despite Democrat actions, non-citizens do not deserve more or be treated better than our citizens.
