I love dogs but if u are angry because the dogs are barking, why not shoot the dogs? Do not come at me, I would never hurt a dog but I would not shoot a human either.
There is more to this story than the dogs.
Maybe the shooter had feelings for the victim, and was rejected.
So… a former cop decides it’s ok to store the gun where the “kids cant reach it”? No lock? No safe? Girlfriend didn’t even know about the gun? And kids those ages can certainly locate a chair to stand on to reach the gun.
At least she swiftly confessed. And most of all, everybody is still alive.
this is probably the most non bullshit perpetrator that really told everything, and you can see the emotion or lack of.. i bet the next person that she said gonna shoot….probably herself
65 years is crazy. Totally justified but just crazy when compared to the extremely limp sentences that much worse crimes seem to get all the time.
While this is an absolutely terrible thing for someone to do…….working in Amazon, FedEx, UPS, etc…….can be brutal for a persons sleep patterns and mental health. I worked at FedEx during Covid and we had mandatory 6 days a week/8 hours a day. We got zero breaks, each person moving thousands of pounds of packages every day, and no compassion from management. My running "joke" was that I understood what the term "going postal" finally meant. Not funny, but also very honest. I hope the victim and her family are safe and enjoying happiness now ❤️🩹

Scary thought, I think the kids got to her and that's what set her off. It could just as easily have been them she shot.

The thing about our thoughts is if you listen to one of them long enough soon it will become strong enough. For 2 months she listened and soon it became the most dominant thought of them all. Soon it became her protection of her mind. Not even she could even regulate her anymore. That's how I see it. Temporary insanity if understood. I'm happy the sister pulled through and recovered. 😢 Kinda story where your heart 💜 inches it's way to feel for both because now both are highly in need of psychological help.

I honestly kind of think she just wanted to be done with the responsibilities of life. In prison, you're fed, housed, etc. I mean, I'm sure it sucks. But I dunno. Feels like she just wanted an out. "ever just get tired?"

I’ve lived next door to dogs that barked incessantly for years. Complaints to the environment department produced no results in 18 months. Someone did shoot both dogs eventually. You say the woman’s mind went dark. It didn’t. She’d simply come to the end of her tether. I don’t understand why she shot the owner instead of the dogs but the law against noise abatement should be stronger. Dogs bark because they’re not trained and they’re not controlled. When barking dogs affect your neighbours’s quality of life, you should have them taken away from you.
