I know I'm late to the party but I'm scouring these comments looking for some reason that damn driver's door was unlocked. They see he's erratic. Even if its "sad guy" erratic it could still be a problem. It's so ridiculous that it seems staged! I mean, even if he wasn't obviously erratic, why are they in this situation, ANY SITUATION, with the door unlocked?! I know hindsight is 20/20, but these are police officers. They can't put him in the front seat bc of policy, but there's no policy of don't roll with your door unlocked?! That just seems nuts. It shouldn't NEED to be a policy, BUT apparently it does. Keep the damn vehicle locked except with entering and exiting, period. I'm just baffled it was so easy for this dude. Befuddled. And NO resistance from that Lt whatsoever until the door was slammed in her face and even then it was just vocal. Crazy. Crazy. He'd have been in the back of the car after the first time he stopped walking when I let him walk away. No more talking. You're getting in the back, and I'll drop you off. Unless you fight me. Then you'll warm up in jail. Smh

Lady cop should be fired. He stole your car which has guns inside and your thought is to scream No. What you should have done is pulled your service weapon out and dropped him. Better yet this whole thing could have been prevented if the cops didn't waste their time. Show up to a scene and they have 5mins to comply. If not arrest them take them to jail.
99% of the drivers would have thought he was just a legit cop rushing to a scene in his car.

The depth of ineptitude with those LEOs, is at the very least, embarrassing.
That person was clearly unstable enough to justify going hands on after the 1st 5 mins.
The LT needs to back down a rung or 2 to get more training.
