What Started as a Yard Cleanup – Ended with a TRIP to the ER

This episode is a great reminder of just how quickly EVERYTHING can change. I don’t want to find myself in the EMERGENCY ROOM again! This all could have been a whole lot worse. I’ll definitely be moving slower and working to be more careful as we continue to help those in need.

  1. Could ypu go back and do their back yard? The back looks awful too. Great job and happy you are alive walking and healed. My 66 year old, now deceased EX husband cut above his knee with a chain saw December 2022. He had a massive heart attack this past June, he passed away just 3 weeks after I divorced him. Ling story, but I took him to the hospital in 2022 when he injured his leg. He did good work on the yard, but a lousy abusive cheating narcisstic bi polar husband. Thanks alot for all the hardworking tough work you do and be more aware and careful from now on! God bless! 🎉😊

  2. I wished I would have said something sooner. Heard about your incident on another transformation channel.

Check with your City or State Forestry departments on chainsaw safety courses that their workers take, please. This could have killed you.

I'm watching your earlier stuff, and I regret not commenting about this.

Your community needs you. You need your body parts. Please consider this and other relevant safety courses.

    Take Good Care.

  3. So glad that your accident wasn't worse than it was! All you hear is how cell phones are taking over our lives(which is a sad truth to a point), but you never hear the positives….that phone may have saved your leg/life. Had it been a worse cut bc your phone was in a different pocket(or no pocket at all and without reach with a serious cut where you couldn't even walk to call for help, you may have had a totally different outcome). Then the fact that you took a chunk out of your leg, gave yourself a tourniquite ANNNND continued to work/load up your equipment to seek medical care is 🤯 to me! This younger generation calls off work for a stubbed toe. You are 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 and a true humanitarian role model that I hope reaches the young generation.

  4. Have you ever thought to wear clear glasses or whatever they are called? With stuff flying everywhere, maybe extra protection everywhere would be helpful. My son cut my eye before and it took 2 years to heal! And I still put stuff in my eyes. Just a friendly suggestion. 😊

  5. Hi, Sean!! LOVE your work, and I LOVE to see the unbelievable transactions at the end! Thank you for all your hard work! I also view Outdoors With Erik. In his last video, they have a conversation about you, and this video. Erik often uses a mulching machine, and as you stated in this video, you could only go so far in the back yard in this video. If you contact Erik, the two of you could work together, and really clean up what you had to leave behind. Now in Erik's last video, the elderly lady he was helping out, is in desperate need of a new back patio! This is something you could help Erik with! I'm hoping you read this, and MAYBE consider the possibility! Hey, with a little teamwork….. Just, think, how much further the two of you could go….. Huh? Thanks again for all your hard work!

  6. Sean thank God you’re okay! You’re a blessed gentleman and what makes it special is you come back to finish your amazing kind work!! May God continue his blessings and keep you and your families🙏❤️🇪🇹

  7. After hard days work you gotta get them power naps in lol. I had same thing happened to medina when I had my toenail removed and the dr gave me numbing shot wrong I felt all the pain. I was fine till dr said I got i half off and can't give you no more shots. When he asked what you want me to do that's when the sweat and cold chill and sweating happen

  8. Thats my biggest worry for all the channels like this i follow, that the person doing good will be injured. Already saw another one get zapped by electricity (wouldn't have thought the abandoned house would have electric. ). Its such a wonderful thing you all do , but please be extra careful.

  9. I feel you man! Never passed out. But the numbing shots are 100% worse than the injury every time. Stitches in both of my legs from huge gashes from accidents. I think they stuck me about 10-15 times for the one above my knee. I was shaking by the last couple ones. Better then feeling what comes after though. lol Please be careful!

  10. I'm so sorry that happened to you. But thank you for sharing your experience. Even though you're obviously okay, that was hard to watch and not worry for you. Your work ethic is always commendable but my goodness… To be back at it so soon after was shocking. This transformation was top tier, especially considering your condition. Just please don't stand on top of your mower again 😆 (just for any kids watching).

  11. This is the first video of yours I have seen. It looks about 2000 percent better. As you mentioned, it is safer now for kids playing around there. Snakes and such can't hide very easily when it is not overgrown. Thankful that your leg was not hurt very badly. Chainsaws are so dangerous, and require a lot of respect. 🙂

  12. Sean ran across your channel by accident and sure glad I did. You are a kind, loving man doing a great job for individual and the community. THANK YOU 😊

BY the way I live in Springfield Illinois however I am a Detroiter through and through. I just got back from a week in northern Michigan. Torch Lake… I love it.

Be careful, be good and God bless you. Glad your injury wasn’t any worse than it was.

  13. Glad your ok. I'm sure you gave your family quite a scare. You made a huge transformation. The back might be a good one for Outdoors with ERIK since he has the equipment. Keep up the amazing work. 😮

  14. Your work is excellent! I’m so sorry you hurt yourself, but grateful it wasn’t worse! Thank God your mobile phone was in that pocket or it may have taken off your leg. You are lucky. Actually, I think you had an Angel looking out for you. Be careful on your equipment. You do such amazing work. I don’t know how you do all this yourself. You need a team member!
