  1. Randy, we were off-roading near Hawthorne NV when a 'military' person on channel 16 came on and 'ordered' us to stop transmitting on GMRS 16 (462.5750). 'They' informed us it was a closed channel and we were not allowed on the channel. Lots of military stuff in the area, scared the poop out of us. How can this be?

  2. Makes PERFECT sense to me! Your father was right! I say the same thing all the time.. Because I like to "defuckulate" my life whenever possible. Thank you for all you do and the common sense you bring to the arena of radio.

  3. Great my birthday is soon, the reference to “back in the old days CB channel 19 was the official travel channel” makes me feel really old now. When I started trucken, yes trucken, it was CB channel 10. I have recently embraced the GMRS comms and wondered if such a thing existed. Love this guy!

  4. I hereby voluntarily attest to my assent to use GMRS 19 as the official Road Channel for all the GMRS system, and indicate my formal acceptance of the aforementioned decree. All hail Xenu and the FCCsssss…!

  5. I used to have a CB license!!! For some reason I needed a new radio … but at that time a huge solar flare was in the near making CB useless. Short story too long, I never got a new CB and it disappeared over time. But now I'm getting a TidRadio and since the God Zenu appointed you it is now official. Channel 19 is the channel for travel. Let there be much rejoicing and drink tonight.
