i think it's stupid to separate from people who are obviously from the same family tree but created their own style of language and culture for whatever reason. Look at what Europe did, they are separated by language and culture and have fought wars over a lot of things, but now are militarily united and kind of respect eachothers language and culture. That's why they can have a allie so far away from them with the stolen land called the Americas, a moshpit of them over there calling themselves Americans. Why not give those people the respect you as a majority want and make it a mendatory for kids to learn 2 or 3 languages at school. Just like we do now and the same reason you are able to speak your language and English to be able to communicate worldwide. so 1 language to identify one self and culture, 1 to communicate troughout your country and 1 to communicate with the world. I think that would be a step closer to lesser wars tribalism creates.

I speak Boro language from the Bodo-Garo group of the Tibeto-Burmese branch of Sino-Tibetan languages.
The other languages in Myanmar (with different colors from yellow in the map)that spoken other than Burmese are not dialects of Burmese at all . Pls don’t mention them as Burmese dialects.In fact many of other ethics speak languages from other language families that are completely different from Burmese . Like the Mons who speak Mon language ( around 1 million native speakers)that belongs to Mon-Khmer language family, the Tais (Shan) who are Tai speaking (around 5-7 millions Tai native speakers)ethnics and the Karens people who speak Karenic languages (up to 7 millions native speakers). These and other many more are different ethnics group from Burmese and we are proud of our ethnics’identities. And if you redraw the map based on languages, a significant part of Myanmar territory where Tai speakers live would have to join Thailand and Laos.
Indian from uttrakhand, we have our own languages kumauni and Garhwali, hindi is the secondary language for North Indians. It's a shame that politicians have destroyed our culture and heritage, even our state language is hindi and second language is Sanskrit. We are fighting for our languages to be recognised
