  1. I love that we can have faith in and trust God for everything in life that we need. We have every reason to. When you serve him and worship him and develop a relationship with him, he'll give you everything you need to live a good life. You can see this on the lives of a lot of people and yourself if you thoroughly reflect on your life. Everything about God is good, and you can have peace, comfort, joy, happiness and security knowing you have an awesome father who will always take care of you and provide you with everything. He has done awesome things in my life and if you'll turn to him for help and support he'll help you solve every problem you have. It's amazing what he did sending his son to live on earth understand humanity since he knew know sin and serving us. Even though its heartbreaking what he went through on the cross,it's such and awesome act of sacrifice, forgiveness, grace, mercy, unconditional love, care, and kindness. He still loves us and doesn't want us to suffer for a ll eternity but wants us to live a good life and provide that for us. He took on the punishment for our sins and we can develop a good relationship with him and spend eternity in heaven. I'm extremely grateful for him and everything he has, is and will do for me in the future.

  2. So would this be more an explanation of the Holy Spirit work in sanctifying Grace in baptism rather than the work of the Holy Spirit in the work of initiation which is where the Holy Spirit empowers us to be witnesses and to do the work of the ministry?

  3. WoW 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you Fr.Mike. This is a great Christmas present for my grandchildren. And for many many other children, big or small 🤭🔥💪🙏🙏🙏 God bless Fr.Mike and a great 2025 🎉🎉🎉

  4. Anyway I got the baptism in the spirit from agape group in this parish. That's important to me daily. I can see what is evil and good looking around me. This is discernment. A gift from God who loves us all. As long as we pay attention to him. 😊❤🎉

  5. I'm a sixties kid and flash Gordon was on telly loads of times. More than him I was watching Batman and Robin. Further into the nineties my son followed the Batman and Robin plus superman Chris Reeves and Spiderman. We never bothered with captain marvel or X-Men or Aquaman or Deadpool characters. Wonder woman my son watched in the cinema. I was not too fussed about it.

  6. I'm a Shazam Christian.
I want to be Captain America Christian
But I think Ironman is a better analogy
He too is good, prodigal son good, and he has to recharge his suit. He has to relax and reconnect with the power source. (Prayer and church and fellowship) Before going out and being Ironman again.

  7. Three baptisms in the bible.
    1. Water
    2. Eternal life receiving the Holy Spirit and Light
The third we can't do. Jesus and Holy Spirit do.
    3. Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This means activation of your Gifts, which ever ones you have..
Know your Gifts and use then.

  8. I always feel as if the Holy Spirit is with me and protecting me and has saved my life more times than I can count. I feel as if there is a white light surrounding me when I call upon the Holy Spirit to protect and help me

  9. What about Hinduism. Karma. It's mentioned in John as well. I grew up in a bad childhood and I've gone through so many challenges. I definitely believe in Karma & think if it were practiced, the world would be a great place.

  10. I remember a priest named Fr. Chad say in his Pentecost homily that the Radioactive Spider coming down to bite Miles Morales and giving him his spider-powers in Spider-Verse is like the Holy Spirit coming down on the apostles to give them grace. Being a big Spider-man fan, I really liked the analogy! Also I would advise looking into Daredevil, a superhero who is actually Catholic in-universe!

  11. I got one of those spiritual insights that implies that fallen, im not sure how many ways there are to be fallen, but falling in line and signing a contract for the military, giving agency of the soul and body and mind and actions to an organization. And after the term is over i still perceive them not acting of their own accord. And then in death i see monadic stacks of the same being in different ways. All humans are considered fallen. My experience with the holy Spirit was kinda like an explosive volcano and i have no clue how high it is, but that's what dumped the extent of my conditioned responses, and what i thought i knew and wiped what was important, essentially yanked the rug and foundation from under me and I've been free falling since March 2017, still today, but i won't even contract with the department of motor vehicles. Also what are your thoughts on the lifting the son of man and the spiritual army in command of the one who does that? I was about 10 and avoided religion ever since, including reading the scriptures. Around that same age i was caught in the riptide with my little brother
And after a while he started panicking and clinging. We were good swimmers but not forever without fatigue. Rather than let him drown us both i went to the bottom and held him up to catch his breath, repeating as needed until help came. And i never thought about it really until 30 years later and i was getting swarms of spirits flocking to me. And then started hearing in music recognition of what happened in the riptide. And medical industrial and government obstacles tracing to keeping me trapped in lack, and trauma with correlating tirs to cancer research. Opposite of crabs in the bucket. A ton of gaslighting, and a lifetime of invalidation for the universe to ripple correspondence back to me. The strokes with at the door, trent rezner with a minute to breathe, to just give you an example. Does any of this make sense?

  12. POPE BENEDICT XVI: “Human pride and egoism always create divisions, build walls of indifference, hate and violence. The Holy Spirit, on the other hand, makes hearts capable of understanding the languages of all – the language of love; for, the Holy Spirit is Love.”

  13. That "every picture of you is when you were younger" joke is from a Minnesota guy, Mitch Hedberg (RIP). Another silly, but profound Mitch joke is "an escalator can never be broken. it is only temporarily stairs. sorry for the convenience."

  14. The fall made us dead instantly. Adam and Eve were made in God's image with the Holy Spirit intact. Jesus with God the Father in him (only Jesus has a body) called to Adam and Eve but the did not hear him over the light of God and via the Holy Spirit. So, he Audibly had to yell for them to answer.
