  1. 3 things that helped me understand what’s really going on: 1) I stopped arguing with people online. 2) I studied the power dynamics nobody teaches. 3) I found Atruve and never saw influence the same again.

  3. This deal is very, very thin. Just political theatre for both the US and UK who needed something to show. This isn't a comprehensive FTA deal nor was it ever likely to be – they take years to negotiate. This just trims some tax off a few items. Fluff. UK also announced a deal with India yesterday, which had been talked about for years without fruition. And the EU have gone ahead with a deal with South America that had been in limbo for years. The world is scrambling to get Trump to reduce tariffs on goods from their country but they are also scrambling to do deals with each other to reduce US leverage.

  4. The US Imports $70 Billion p.a. from the UK.

The US Exports $80 Billion p.a. to the UK.

So, the US has a trade surplus of $10 Billion p.a. with the UK.

US National debt is $37 Thousand Billion.

So, imagine you have a debt of $37,000 and your friend gives you ten dollars to help out.

  5. Stop talking and start walking. I'm talking to YOU, CONGRESS.
    POLITICIANS, DO YOUR JOB!!!
You were elected to protect the rights of all American citizens and residents. We've been electing for a long time. However, there isn't much to show for it. American citizens and residents always lose. Stop the circus and start innovating for a prosperous future. Dear government system, if you can't do your job properly, please be fair and allow the freedom for citizens and residents to elect more qualified people who CAN ACTUALLY LEAD this country. I don't want false promises or popularity. I want to see my neighbors, community, family, and friends smile again, and have hope for the future, without worry or stress. ENOUGH! I, and I say, the current government officials can't even meet the minimum requirements. So I must go my own way, because of the selfish, arrogant, and self-centered minds that hold the leadership. I will never follow a weak mind. Nature's leaders must have strong minds! And natural is always better.

  6. I’m pretty sure the UK managed to sneak in their king as the new King of the US—probably somewhere between tea taxes and a clause about returning the Queen’s corgis. Tell Trump he’s made the greatest deal in history, and he’d happily sign over the Pentagon for a gold-plated golf cart. The whole thing is so ridiculous, so embarrassingly empty, it feels like government by vanity project—loud, hollow, and utterly childish!

  7. Lordy, Lordy….MAGA is dumb. This was no trade deal, this was political theater attempting to give Trump some kind of victory ahead of the disaster of what's coming in over the summer and fall. (1) We already have a $12B trade surplus with the UK, soooooo……and (2) This was an agreement on a framework for a trade deal, with most details ytbd. Nothing really changed, and y'all MAGAs genuflecting like this is some kind of major win. Enjoy the next six months. It will be the consequences of your stubborn willingness to buy into the bulllshit of a third rate con artist, business fraud, and an idiot who doesn't understand how tariffs and trade works.

  8. It’s interesting when people complaining these comments and yet the Democrats do nothing. Trump is protecting our economy protecting our workers protecting our resources not anybody else’s and I could give a damn about anybody else’s resources and you get these comments like this is all BS and all that stuff you knowthe Democrats can’t do anything except complaint and spend money and sing songs

  9. Trump got played again. Brits don't buy American cars and American auto manufacturers don't produce cars designed to be driven on the opposite side of the road… Meanwhile, Brits sold 100,000 cars to the US last year, so they are OK with this tariff quota

  10. Great! So Jaguars, Land Rovers, Aston-Martins, Bentleys, Rolls-Royces, and McLarens will be 15% less. That will certainly put them within reach of the average American. Gosh, thanks, now my daughter can have three dolls for Christmas.
