I'm convinced you just don't like how music sounds
I know this is old, and you probably won't read this. But they are indeed metal the cups, just made out of injected magnesium alloy. But yeah, they probably feel a lot like plastic.
SOLD That is what I wanted to hear It adds nothing Must be amazing then PURE
funny how this only Z who has spotty track record finds these things out of 3 well known reviewers, and out of the 3 Z has the most misses, but even more interesting only here people seem to have some negative feedback for the system. I see a review where the reviewer lies to audience and I know he lies because I have the unit, I say so, and I am genuinely curious why those critics are not present on other channels for this system review.
These are actually some of the very best headphones out there, disagree with this video (still love this channel). No thin estat sound with these, great bass, very linear and transparent. These are total audiophile headphones. Perfect reproduction is very hard to do, and thus the price.
The classic audiophile paradox. If you make an all in one system the price will be compared to a singular headphone that needs an amp separately even though an all in one system is aimed towards people who donโt already have thousands of dollars in source and dac and amp gear. However the only people typically willing to pay this much for audio gear are the type of people who already have thousands in source and dac and amp gear.
The cups are in fact metal, not plastic as stated incorrectly โ it's lightweight magnesium alloy.
0:00 ELM , very epic
I listened to one of these and it was easily the best thing I've ever heard.
I have a friend who owned (owned, not owns, thank god) these and truth be told I thought the sound was great, even when compared to other really good headphones we both own, HOWEVER it should be illegal to sell something that is this uncomfortable for over $100. They weren't just annoying, they didn't just "feel in the way" some times, they are VERY uncomfortable. All the time. It's not just the clamp either, everything about them made me wanna take them off instantly.
The bravura energizer produces 1400+ volts, so it needs a different cable, it is not recommended to use the analog inputs, as they are converted to D before being converted back to A, the price of each component is BS as they can't be used separatly, and yes, the blacks should be the same price, they look nicer, less plasticky, there is just NO plastic in these headphones !, good that you corrected that. all reviewers complain about the clamp force, probably a no go for me as well. oh nice, you know Paul Simon now ๐ good, there is progress. do you think these headphones had enough break in time ? if you just bought them, they didn't, i heard they need 150 hours, i'm going to test them tomorrow, lowering expectations.
Those are Lemo Connectors or Lemo clones we've started seeing. Super spendy, use them often in the Medical Device field. More complex to assemble obviously too.
When the government was sending me thousand dollar checks to wear a mask โ maaaaayyybbbeee. But with the stock market tanking, banks failing, and recession pending, Iโll take a pass. Thanks. Zack is where itโs at anyway. Caldera here I come.
I bet these sound like the meze 109 pros
I really need a link to purchase that Faye Valentine poster in the back at 1:23
Hi, I had them for a while. Truth be told in my opinion the clamping force was the biggest no go. They were uncomfortable at all times. The sturdy inflexible cable also doesnt help. They top Utopias and many others especially in detail retrieval if you like their very neutral signature. Also Vocals are truly fascinating with the bravura. But in that segment most headphones are just marginally different than the others anyway. And price to performance is never worth it. However for a high end all in one system I would atleast consider them a contender if money plays a not so important Part. And I would be skeptical of all reviewers, most exaggerate flagships, not limited to the bravura.
At that price, give me color or give me death.
Their flat for a reason. Their for studio use. These accompany the Sonoma workstations I believe and used as a tool for mastering. Get the raal ca 1s and your done .
Z Reviews, mehโฆโฆโฆโฆ. ๐
The headphone has very high distortion with higher volume levels. Not loud just higher volume. Most reviews dont mention it. The issue was confirmed by the makers and discussed on many audio discords.
Uff the sr 009 is like 2k in my country.
Hello Z, how's it go with the Goldplanar gl1200? Do you think it's possible to run them off a SMSL A300? When I can afford them I will satisfy my fiendish interest. Little info online still
Key takeaway from this: Zeos loves a nice, thick knob.
New to your channel, I like how you say fuck,
Bravura = skill
Black looks better than silver tbh. But not $800 worth lmfao
GL2000 are better.
Refreshing to see an honest opinion. I agree -there are way too many lower priced headphones that do a great job at neutral and very revealing. Especially when you bump up to $500. 6K is a totally different level and it's literally competing with the absolute best headphones, top end on the market today. If it cannot absolutely floor you with its sound, that's a hard pass. You have to look at price in a review, just as a 50 dollar headphone sounding like a 500 dollar headphone matters โ so too does a 6K headphone sounding like a 600 headphone matter to the review. In fact, the price IS the central point in the review. If there was a Tesla car clone selling for 1/10th the price of a Tesla, i'm sure many people would go out today to buy it. Price is central.
โ it has nothing โ โฆ the company is shocking ๐
I'd rather spend the money on a really high end receiver, two solid tower speakers, and a solid subwoofer and just put together an arse kicking 2.1 system. And maybe spring for a good turntable as well.
I'm tempted to buy some of those hybrid electrostat IEMS, just to hear what they sound like with my new IFI XCan amp, at least. I've never actually heard
electrostatic headphones of any kind. I have heard some Martin Logan hybrid speakers in a high end store at some point, though.
Need the wallpaper
fact that zeos keeps the r7dx really tells me something
It may need some sort of marble base for its ampโฆ.
Just buy more guns & ammo while you can.
