Using a Rotator to Flip a Semi Truck, With a Surprise Twist!!!

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching! Today, I am at the hospital with my wife, “Mom” Pratt. So, my son Ethan, son-in-law Talon, and the rest of the crew take on a unique situation in a very familiar location. Most of my viewers should recognize this exact same spot as where we worked a rollover of a semi truck carrying hazardous materials a few years ago. Oh, and it was raining. Today, the crew had sunshine and plenty of heat as we were still dealing with an “extreme heat warning”. So, over in the ditch the semi goes, then it hits a utility pole. The TWIST, the fuel used by this truck in CNG (Compressed Natural Gas). This could have made for an explosive situation. Are our two 50 ton units up to the task? Talon is operating our flagship Peterbilt 389X rotator while Ethan is manning the new Western Star with the Miller Industries Century 9055XL. How will the crew perform with me not there? How will Ethan hold up knowing that his mom is in the hospital, but not knowing what is wrong with her at this point? Watch and see….

Ethan, a great job! But please keep safety in mind with your younger colleges/provisies not wearing helmets, as soon as Oscar ariveved he had his safety had on.The two young ones have no idea of the dangers and forges when you start pulling those winches. But in all you did a fantastic job! No damage during the recovery and it went like a hot knive in butter. Big compliments! God bless to your Mother and Ronns husband on a good and healthy recovery.

Ethan, I mean this with all due respect, I didn’t think that you had it in you to take the bull by horns and get a job like that done as professional as you did, the videos that I’ve seen where you were with your dad , your abilities and leadership skills were not evident!! But you sure shined on this job, very impressive Sir, you seem to have the respect of and for your team of workers also.

Wow, when your in charge, its a different Ethan. You always do very well, but you step it up, kick it in a nother gear. Getting everyone doing what you need. And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly why you always personally verify instead of assuming, or taking someone else's word. Like the time a buddy of mine was tasked with cutting and removing an "abandoned" electrical line that the foreman assured him had been cleared cold. News flash: It was not cold, nor abandoned. It was hot. Live current. He still has those melted dikes as a reminder of the lesson learned that day.
