There are more unsolved crimes in Minneapolis right now compared to each of the previous four years – and arrests have yet to be made in the high-profile shootings of three children since April.

  1. this is what happens when Omar is in charge – she screamed dismantle the police – and now crime is up over 35%. Impeach her and put someone in who will protect the citizens

  2. Well, that's what Minneapolis wants, they voted for this. This is their utopia so the rest of us should just encourage criminals to move to Minnesota and make our own states safer. Minnesota wants to cut minimum felony sentences so their beloved criminals can get out sooner and get back to work.

  3. Well you have the Liberal Democrats and Socialist Democrats to thank. You bitch because a cop shoots a thug but when a little girl gets killed the media will do a small piece on it and then drop it. You let your city council defund the organization who protects you and now they are working on a skeleton staff. If you want justice you sometimes have to pay for it.

  4. Of course……
    You wanted M I N N O P O L I C E ……
    You got NO P O L I C E…..and crime increasing……
    You also like Ilhan…she wants to Mogadishuarize Minnopolice…and she is succeeding ! ! ! bravo Ilhan ! ! !

  5. You don't defend the police, you retrain. Oregon is the perfect example having 2000% increase of crimes, since they defunded the police department, decreasing the number of officers in various units within the deoartment. When their is a lack of police, you don't have investigators on murder, trafficking, kidnapping, sexual assault and burglary of residential property or a place of business etc. Minneapolis has a gang problem, and it does take trained officers to investigate the infiltration of gangs, usually associated with drugs.

  6. WCCO are the only morons who can't figure out why crime and unsolved crimes are on the rise. Next story WCCO studies how their nose all of a suddenly appeared on their own face.

  7. This is what happens when "activists" and politicians undermine and demoralize the police. How many officers have responded to the political hostility by saying "Adios!" to Minneapolis? And who is suffering the most? The inner-city citizens, many of them citizens of color, are suffering the most from this uptick in violence and crime, but it seems the "activists" and politicians behind this debacle must think "black lives matter" only when a cop pulls the trigger. Also, SOMEBODY in the community has information on these crimes, but apparently being a "snitch" is a more serious crime than shooting an innocent child in the minds of some people.
