I remember watching this on Saturday afternoons.

This was one of my favorite sci-fi shows when I was a kid. It was fun to imagine what the world might be like.
Looking at it now, I do have to question what the purple wigs and utterly impractical silver lamé Moonbase uniforms were all about? Now those costumes are just an insulting hypersexualuzation of women – who were supposedly part of a military organization.
And aircraft that were largely useless after their blew their wad of one missile? Talk about your bad design!
Not that the men escaped, especially the uniforms on the SHADO submarine with the mesh shirts, where one sees a man's bear chest or a woman's brasierre. The clothing just seemed so tacky, not remotely military or professional.
But it was all just so groovy.

My oh my, the memories come flooding back to me this is from 1972 approximately, UFO produced by Gerry Anderson was one of my favourite childhood TV shows, never missed an episode and this is where my interest in UFOlogy began. Just brilliant seeing this 👽👽👍
