Inflation like we have seen is caused by the stock market. Computers bid up the cost of goods with money (from the future) that showed up on their computers for future spending (e.g. repair bridges). Futures and derivatives leverage the buying power and the costs skyrocket. If money goes to people of is only released into the economy as it can be spent of actually fixing the bridge, for instance, there will not be inflation, but economic growth. The have never been any guidelines on what to do with the money banks receive prior it being spent for the purpose for which it was given.
