This video exposes how most people don't have any clue about life in a city on the street. The cops and Dawson exchanged a lot of valuable information. People saying he used a lot of words to not say anything are just ignorant as they never encounter this slice of society. He was telling them everything he knew, and they picked up on most of it.

it gets so tiring hearing people say "I pay your taxes" to a cop. No. You don't. You pay YOUR taxes. They WISH you'd pay for their taxes. Then they'd get a fatter paycheck because those taxes aren't getting pulled out every month. However, in actuality, what's going on is the police are funded via taxes levied on you, and funded by the government, state Federal funding and grants. As i said earlier, you pay your taxes, not theirs.
