  1. I have a Corvette and would NEVER jeopardize me, my car or any person on the road! This kid needs to be held accountable for the trauma and damage he has caused. He is not mature enough to drive a high-powered car. He is one none-caring individual.

  2. One time, years ago, i hit the back of a pickup truck in my Volkswagen CC. I was not running from the police but i was driving on the highway at about 70-75 mph (speed limit being 70). All of a sudden the traffic in front of me came to a stop. I found out later that a dog had ran across the highway. I happened to be looking down at my radio at the moment when the truck braked in front of me. One minute we were all going 70 mph and everything was fine, the next minute i look back up and the truck is nearly at a full stop in front of me. I slammed on the brakes but it was too late. I probably hit the truck at 50 mph. Totally shattered my car into a million little pieces. It was so bad that one of my wheels on the rear of the car ended up totally detached and laying on its side up underneath my car. Luckily I was not seriously injured.

When the police showed up i was in tears, all i could think about was whether or not i hurt the people in the truck. I was beside myself. I knew it was an accident in the true sense of the word, i wasn’t drinking, wasn’t on drugs, i was just not looking at the road for 3 critical seconds when everyone slammed on their brakes for the dog. I was in my late 30’s at the time so it’s not like i was a teenage driver or anything. It was just one of those things. I kept asking the officer that was talking to me if the people in the truck were ok. He kept reassuring me that they were. He said the lady in the passenger seat had a bit of a sore neck but that was it. I felt so awful though. The officer ran me through some basic field sobriety tests and i passed. Not the walk and turn and stuff, just things that i could do while sitting in the driver seat of my car. I think he had me count backwards, run through my ABC’s and one other test where i had to touch the tip of my thumb to the tips of my four fingers and count 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 3, 2, 1. Anyway, i just felt so horrible for causing this huge car crash, and i was terrified that the lady’s neck injury would turn out to be bad. Turns out she was fine though. But the incident has lived with me ever since. I never take my eyes off the road anymore when I’m on the highway. Not even for a fraction of a second.

  3. People get more time for drugs than doing this! No prosecution for crashing into an innocent person's car and injuring 2 people? That's a slap in the face for them especially with no concern for them or any remorse, whatsoever 😢.

He'll only serve 3 months bc they only serve half the sentence 😢.
