Powers of Matthew Star- alien teenager comes to earth to hide from the ones who attacked his planet/killed most of his family. He had various telekinetic abilities. Tries to hide his abilities to blend in, but US Government finds out. Asks them for help in exchange for keeping their secrets.
Don’t recognize 1/2 of these shows, but I spent 1/2 of the 80s overseas with the Army!!!
i LOVE 90s scifi, but 80s scifi just cant hold up … its just nostalgia it looks so bad … the difference between 80 and 90 is higher then 90 to 2020
Automan was heavily inspired by the original Tron, and that was the only good thing about it imo. That's why it was "groundbreaking."
I liked Silk Stockings!!!😀😀😀
The Hitchhiker was a most particularly impressive anthology series for the 80s.
I never did like these cheezy shows, they were pathetic and goofy, I never watch them in the 80s.
You forgot Manimal
Fart points for not mentioning "The Highwayman", part of the "triad" of Automan and Manimal which were often on in the UK when I got back from the pub when I was a student. Highwayman was exceptional for featuring a sidekick called Jeddo(??) with the worst Australian accent since Sledgehammer! did "Crocodile Bruce" and when I googled it after waiting 30 years for it to be invented, it transpires the actor playing "Jeddo" was actually Australian. I can only imagine that he was banned from re-entering Australia as a result.
"Alien Nation" was set in a distant future?
Is it me or is Automan based on Tron or vice versa, defo agead of its time tragic
Was Quantum Leap really the 1980's ?? How did I get so old!?!?!?!?!
Your nostalgic video hit home for me. Looking forward to more trips down memory lane. Subscribed! 👏🌟
Manimal and Battlestar Galactica should be on there, too.
We liked the Hitchhiker and Buck Rogers in the 25th century.
Some corrections for their intro Quantum Leap not a forgotten show. Is has a sequel series on NOW.
Star Trek the original is not a forgotten show. Nor from the 1980’s
The Vietnam war. Not a tv series, it was a military conflict. Also prior to the 1980’s
Song? You mean theme tune. The music for Amazing Stories didn't have lyrics.
Greetings from Brazil! I remember all! Long live the 80´s! Thank you!
Max headrom and alien nation were the only good shows
Captain Power amazonggggggggg
I LOVE AUTO MAN MY FAVOURITE ❤
There was Galactica also. ❤
5:52 — EDISON Carter, not EDWARD
To be honest thank feck they have been forgotten
I actually found the entire series of captain power, and the soldiers of the future… It was a great find
Just a correction – Dean Paul Martin and Kevin Peter Hall died years after Misfits of Science was cancelled, 1987 and 1991, respectively. In fact, Kevin Peter Hall went on to play the Predator and Harry from Harry and the Hendersons.
Otherworld was a good idea but the episodes were pretty boring and uninspired.
EDISON Carter.
Max headroom…..perfect show
I remember automan…… Great show
I remember many of the show's especially misfits of science.
Otherworld!!! Dayum. So few people remember this one.
Anyone here remember a show where
-it seems like a time travel from them to the past or future
-the women wearing electric armor and it can collect energy and shoot ball energy
-i think she's chasing a group of kids
-the women is the antagonist for that episode
;-; please help me it's my childhood.
Max Headroom in 30 FPS was ahead of the times. But now in 2023, video games are rejected by many if they are made in 30 FPS.
War of the Worlds ?
Max Headroom predicted Data Mining.
Alien Nation was my joint!
This great well done and thanks
This great was speaking given us info best on truth facts not like others who just tell us there option
Automan is my favorite super hero all the time and thank u for my actor Chuck Wagner
Holy crap! “Amazing Stories” was where the headless teacher chasing the kids came from. 😂 My only memory from my childhood was Doc Brown chasing the kids and I couldn’t find that anywhere.
“The Hitchhiker” was badass!
“Alien Nation” kicked dick!
Quantum Leap was also great show that didn't make it.
