First and foremost, thank you very much for your work. I just watched Slingshot, and I can only say that it's been a long time since I saw such a good movie. Nothing like purely commercial cinema full of CGI effects. Pure script and a really low budget. It's a masterpiece. It's unbelievable that movies like this aren't promoted more. What outrages me the most is that critics give it a 5 rating (FilmAffinity). This is the last time I trust critics again. Now, I'm compelled to watch the rest of your recommendations. EDIT 1: I just watched I.S.S and it seems like another masterpiece to me. And this movie gets a 4.8 from critics? (Filmaffinity again). How easy it is to criticize others' work without doing anything yourself! Absolutely recommended for SCI-FI fans who can live without CGI effects.

For those who like I.S.S. : I highly advice to look for Roland Emmerichs first movie, 1984's "Das Arche Noah Prinzip / The Noah'S Ark Principle". Besides being better then most of his later movies, you will notice a few interesting similarities and differences, how a somewhat similar situation was viewed 40 years ago. With a pittance of a budget.
