  2. Bless those neighbors for looking out for little girl and intervening—I hope the mom gets her priorities straight keeps little one safe and inside. ❤ could have been a scary outcome

  3. I have a 3 year old. He is not my first. He is MY 4th- my others are 23, 20, and 16. I have raised 7 all together, so this one is my 8th I've raised. This one…. THIS kiddo…. is gray hair causing, stomach ulcer causing, stress inducing, busy body, 32 year old in a 3 year olds frame….. He can get out of EVERYTHING. He learned how to fit sockets to lugnuts. He took the door knob off a few weeks ago. Our oldest sent a video of him with a screwdriver, very intently working on the door jam. He managed to unscrew the inside plate and started on the screws holding the knob. Got both halfway out when his sister stopped him. Then, he put it back together- turning the screws the correct way. He makes me a ball of nerves. We screwed into our doors to put chain locks high up enough that he couldn't silently get something to them that was tall enough to open them… because he does know how to use those locks also thanks to a large, wooden toddler "busy board" he got when he was 1. It terrifies me to think he could do something like this… like one day if I were sick or something….

  4. Normally I'm all for arresting "criminals" but I think on this occasion it would have been better to call this a learning moment and get DCF involved but leave the mother at home with the child. Maybe arrange future court appearances but taking the mother to jail at that time served no real purpose.

  5. Negligent parents still get their kids back for the cycle to repeat itself.I’ve seen cases in my own city where Children also get taken away from a parent but that parent is still able to live in house with their child because grandma has custody now.Do the courts really want to protect these kids or not

  6. Lotta assumptions being made about the parents here. People saying they were “partying, smoking, and drinking all night and then sleeping the day away.” We have no idea what they were doing the night before. He said it’s Sunday, we just wanted to chill out and relax. That would imply they have jobs, or he does at least. This didn’t seem like some horrible, intentionally neglectful family. They had just gotten the pool and didn’t know to empty it when they were done. The kid is growing and they clearly haven’t prepared themselves for when she is more able to move around. They both seem pretty bothered by what happened, admitted their mistake, and immediately came up with solutions for the problem. They said they’d put safety knobs on the doors, get rid of the pool, etc. I think this really was a stupid mistake that they can learn from. But I don’t think they’re some evil abusive parents

  7. How is the mum not panicking about how her daughter was found? She is more concerned about making up excuses and avoiding being arrested than she is about her child’s life.

  8. 3:51 they dont even sound concerned at the situation !! You need to be awake when your child is awake. You need to make sure the are locks up high where they can't get out, and most of all you need to give a crap about your kid !! 5:43 she needs to put some clothes on before talking to people outside of her house.Daycare isnt always safe to leave your kid with either, 12:00 Honestly its the first time they should give them a break here,if you can't trust the man your with to keep your baby you shouldn't be with him !!

  9. As a helicopter Mom myself, I wouldn't want to leave my child with just anyone either whether they're "friendly" neighbors or not‼️Personally, I think a deputy should remain on site until CPS or a family member comes to collect the child..
