  1. At 40:15 the Hospitaler says, "I shall tell your father what I've seen you become."
You said, "He has gone tauntingly."
He is not taunting him. He is saying that his order is to go with the army into battle. He knows that he will die and go to heaven, where he will see his father, Godfrey, and tell him what his son has become, which is a good knight.

At 41:45, Saladin gives Guy de Lusignan is given a cup of ice water. Giving someone ice in the desert is a great expression of hospitality. For Guy to give the water to Reynald to taste it first, making sure it's not poisoned, is very rude. Saladin is not going to kill another king, as he explains, so instead, he kills Reynald for the offense.
Side note: the music when they decapitate Reynald is "O Sacred Head Now Wounded" a famous Christian hymn.
Ironic that they would play it while decapitating Reynald.

  2. "How much is Jerusalem worth?"
"Nothing!" – In terms of tactical positioning and trade it's almost worthless, no real value at all.
"Everything!" – It's a city coveted by at least three major religions, and men have been killing each other to claim it as theirs for two thousand years.

  3. For Christians, the plus sign or amulet, is a cross. This represents the thing that Jesus Christ was crucified upon. This is like for the people of India who use an Om/Aum symbol or like the Khanda for Sikh's.
The group of people who wear the large, primarily red, cross on their uniforms are the Templar Knights. In strict service to God and who protect religious symbols and artifacts. They were all killed in 1307 by order of King Philip IV and Pope Clement V because they felt they were committing heresy, sacrilege, and satanism. Because they templars were killed n Friday the 13th, this has become a day of superstition throughout history thinking that bad luck happens that day the way it did with the templars…at least in the United States.

This was based on a True Story to an extent. This moment of co-existence did happen! (before the war of course) and it could happen again with the right ambassadors and leadership! ….ehh maybe not lol

  5. The movie ''kingdom of heaven'' is about crusades? Kinda ironic given that the crusades were commanded by the heretic popes and the legions of the crusades commited crimes against innocents, both Muslim and Christian, pillaged the great CITY of Constantinopole (stealing from that city was actually the REAL secret aim of the Popes crusades) and in many cases most of the crusaders were not only NOT Christians but also covert occultists who actually practiced occult in action. The crusades were nothing but yet another heretic disgrace of Rome and western Europe in general.

  6. You guys should see the movie: Kruistocht in spijkerbroek (Crusade in Jeans) came out in 1973 and represented Thea Beckman's breakthrough as an author of books for young people. The story is about the 15-year-old Dolf Wega, who travels in a time machine and ends up in the middle of a children's crusade in the year 1212.

This is a Dutch movie and they also got it in englisch.

  7. You have watched the wrong version of this film.
Did you know that Sybilla had a son?
He is only in the director's cut. In fact 45 extra minutes.
The director's cut of this film is the greatest film ever made by Ridley Scott.

  8. Don't believe the Hollywood version of anything regarding Heaven, God, or Jesus. It will hold lies and insults about the Christians and who the worship and why. Hollywood hates God and especially Jesus.

  9. Salladin was great. He left all the christain idols there and allowed them to come to pray. Hr definitely saw the bigger picture like baldwin. Christian and muslim can live together in peace and harmony.

  10. The character "The Hospitaller" played by actor, David Thewlis, is defintely a literal angel. The signs are everywhere. My favourite sign is when Liam Neeson's character says he fought for days with an arrow in his testicle. The Hospitaller quickly looks to the sky in question and then cringes. He cringes because he's gotten confirmation from God that he really did fight with an arrow in his testicle. He wasn't lying for bravado.

  11. One thing will say I loved about this movie was Saladin. They did him justice despite so little air time they easily display how successful and prominent he was during this era. In most movies when it comes to history depending on whose side were are given they often portray the other side as some horrible villains that are super easy to dislike. And almost always go out of way to make them seem dumb or have many flaws that most likely didn't exist.
