  1. This video was difficult to publish. To be honest, we almost didn't.
There are good reasons to publish this and good reasons not to.
Ultimately, we hope we struck a balance on how to best cover this – without hiding or refusing to cover a tragedy of immense loss.

  2. 2:05 being a cop you never want to kill anybody even an criminal half the time, and when he got upset he shot somebody, i felt bad for him its just insane. Also I didn't realize while typing he shot thr child as well this is just fed up man.

  3. If the mom didn't date a convicted murderer then that situation would've never happened where the police had to come to try to save them and he used the child as a shield. Only person she can blame is that man and herself.

  4. i feel for the mother losing a child, but to sue the officer who was trying to save you and your child after YOU got with a man WHO PLEAD GUILTY TO MURDER is beyond me.

  5. For those of you who don’t work in medical or front line care…. Those beeps are like a stab in the heart it’s the AED trying to charge up over and over and not bringing the person back

    It’s awful. Screaming usually follows.

  6. Of course she is gonna file a lawsuit instead of saying thank you for probably more than likely saving her life let’s add to the grief and keep it alive and going with a law suite smh only wants some money is all

  7. Being a police officer and having to deal with these horrendous moments none of us see has got to be the most difficult things in life. The police officer who comforted the responding cop is a pillar of strength. This scene is heartbreaking. Poor baby. 😭

  8. I hope that officer is able to get any help or therapy he needs, and that some day he comes to know that it's not his fault. As hard as this was to watch, I think it's important for people to try and understand that at the end of the day, we're all human beings just trying to get through life. It's hard and we can only be responsible for our own actions at the end of the day. That officer had to make an unimaginable decision in a split second and the outcome of that decision took two lives, but he was put in that position because of that man's choices.

  9. She filed a lawsuit against the cop but it’s on her to they said he was just arrested for domestic violence so I’m guessing he beat her she still had him in the house and it lead to this but for some reason they always take the people who beat them back and it almost always ends in something crazy or someone dying

  10. He absolutely made the wrong call the mad didn’t have a gun. The baby didn’t need to die. That officer was ready to fire. Poor trigger discipline and reaction shot will always lead to this outcome

  11. A warning for videos with children in them like this one would be good. This hurt so bad to hear that child scream and then the silence. I couldn't even finish this when the officer started screaming right after it happened.

  12. That monster stabbed his own child.

The officer had an impossible call to make, yet did the right thing and because of the cowardice of the father who put his own child in the way, will face significant sorrow.

I feel so much for him. May God protect him
