  1. Ngl this is a 3 years old video but I just have to say that the performance for me was never bad, and I first played it on xbox. Switched it to performance mode and the graphics still looked incredible for a huge game like Elden Ring, do that for any other game and the performance mode is incredibly ugly.

  2. My 10 year old brother played and beat Elden Ring and he’s never played any Souls like game ever. I didn’t help him at all either he figured it out by himself. This dude Quantam is just a next level pussy.

  3. "When the next gen of games come out, this game won't even be talked about" 3 years later, Elden Ring still has 30k people on STEAM ALONE, at all times. This guy is upset that people hate on him for telling others to and I quote "KILL YOURSELF" Like WHAT???

  4. Elden ring isnt hard its time consuming i dont want to spend months geting my stats up and if your like me and live out in the boonys internet is not an option so farming runes at moes palace is stupid nuts the more you level up the more expensive one stat is got to get vigor to 60 got to get strength to 80 got to get dex to 80 one stat at a time i dont just dont have that kind of time

  5. Fyi when he mentioned, “not made for everyone” I really think you are mistaking his meaning – albeit I still don’t agree with him – but he isn’t talking about it on a rating system… he’s talking about the mechanics and gameplay… like souls games genre itself does not appeal to everyone. It’s not bc it has fighting or nudity… it’s bc it has quests and dungeon crawling and looting and challenging combat etc…

But yeah it’s dumb to say that if it isn’t made for everyone, it shouldn’t exist. Because then no game would exist lol.

  6. In fairness, as someone new to the franchise, I struggled a lot in the beginning, and further as someone who enjoys exploring every nook and cranny, it was extremely unrewarding for a good portion of the game… but then when you DID find something awesome and exciting it was completely reinvigorating and gave a new rush to continue. I think if at the start, exploring and loot felt more encouraged, I’d have zero criticism. Everything else about the game was amazing. I absolutely enjoyed it… despite the many…. many… MANY deaths lmao eventually really start to learn the attack patterns and figure out how to buff your build (and for the record I didn’t use any of the meta builds. Made my own and was completely capable of beating the game).

The only other minor criticism was it was frustrating when enemies were so high that I couldn’t tilt the camera enough to see them. That was hardly gamebreaking though.

I think what makes people find it so challenging is failing to understand that you can retreat from fights. You can go level up, upgrade gear, and come back to try again. You don’t have to fight something just because you encounter it.

All in all, it was well worth the purchase.

/e Also I played on PS and experienced absolutely zero graphical issues.

  7. Look, as a gamer, my superpower is sucking. I played thru all the games to bloodborn and found out from talking to my friends that I "loved how they finaly have a lock on button!"
and thats when I found out that dumb me never figured out that lock on has been a feature in fromsoft for *awhial*.
I started in Demon Souls when it first came out, and I just loved it.

Edit: elden ring is my favorite beceause if I get tired if I get my ass kicked in one place I can move and get my ass kicked in a different breathtaking location to amazingly beutiful monsters. Honestly, for as hard as the souls series is, the cool monster designs and enviroments that kept me going.

  8. Why is everybody saying Elden Ring has no easy mode?! Yes, there isn't an ordinary easy mode in the menu, but there's magic (spells & incantations), AoW, ghost ashes, buffs, bleed, other players etc. For me Elden Ring was my first soulsborne and I'm really bad tbh. But even I could become Elden Lord and get good little by little. The most fun for me is to get the right gear and create a build especially for a certain boss or area. Elden Ring has an easy mode, but it's part of the game to activate it. Isn't that better then the ordinary easy mode?

  9. My first souls game was dark souls 2, I started shooting arrows at some enemy and I was confused why he didn't agro, then he attacked after couple of hits and I quickly realized I've been shooting a friendly npc.
What I don't understand about the (Why are npc's attacking me) dude is… you can NEVER be as dumb as I am.. HOW COULD YOU NOT REALIZE THIS IS A FRIENDLY NPC THAT YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO ATTACK????!!!!!!! Despite the fact he played WAAAAY more games than I've ever played. Dude I didn't play even 5% of ur collection

  10. There's a simple way to say why you don't liek Elden Ring without pissing EVERYONE off, of course, some absolute dumbasses will still be angry, but that's because they don't know that people can have Opinions other than their own. And this is actually my personal opinion: I personally don't love Elden Ring, it's not Bad, it's not even down to Okay, or even just Good, it's still great, objectively it is, but I personally just don't like games that are just really really hard to be really really hard, believe me, I love challenges in games, but when the game is all Challenge, it just kinda turns me off… I just want there to be more than just dying in a game, but I can see exactly why everyone would love these games, they're challenging, and it feels rewarding to beat the enemies because of it, I understand why people would love that, but it personally isn't my cup of tea. And I just gotta say, this game is absolutely fucking beautiful, it looks amazing, the Art Style is great, and the graphics are peak. And even as someone who personally doesn't enjoy this type of game, I'm still trying to get into it! And ngl, it feels fun to explore for me, this game is worth it for the exploration alone. If you love this game for the challenge, that's great, good for you, you do you, love what you love because of why you love it. And also, no, don't add a Difficulty option to a game like Dark Souls/Elden Ring, that would take away from it so much, having an Easy Mode for a game meant to be Hard is like having a deep end for a Kiddie pool. If you're a person into difficult games with an open world and amazing Combat, paly this game, it is worth it ×1000 if you enjoy all of those. Have a great day.

  11. Performance wise, my RX580 and AMD Ryzen 2 5600 can even make it play playable pretty fairly on 27' monitor.
All other stuff is really indeed related to the problem of git gut. Really, those people should really git gut or just leave it fairly with grace.

  12. 10:40 I completely disagree with the fact that you have to have no life to get good at Elden Ring. Obviously if you play 24/7 you’re gonna be amazing, but the key to getting better is being open-minded and changing your strategy.

  13. I like Elden Ring, it’s actually gotten me into Soulslikes, any issues I have are personal problems and to any Elden Ring fans who read this comment let me know your thoughts cause I’m curious. Ok, I don’t like that i can’t pause it, I know the game has online features but I don’t like online shit at all because you can’t pause it, it’s not a huge deal but it can be annoying, I also kinda wish you didn’t have to always go back and collect your Runes every time you die because if you die before you get them all back you lose them, it’s actually why I kinda prefer Black Myth Wukong’s gameplay because you can pause it and don’t have to recollect experience when you die. That’s just my opinion and I still really like Elden Ring, any game that lets you wield giant swords gets a glowing endorsement from me.

  14. It’s crazy that this is where all of the quantum shit started with Act Man, especially when the part where he’s introducing him is mostly focused on Coco yawning. So unserious lol

  15. Year 2025, its may 04 and I am honestly stating this, I fucking hate souls like games because I never had time enough to spend on mastering the gameplay BUT….. a couple months ago I just decided to play Elden Ring after listening the soundtrack of the consort radan, got so intrigued that ran out to watch some elden ring screnshots and dam I just found the need to explore the lands between with my own peace….. though I just already know the story cause saw some resumes of it I am just enjoying it a lot.

The first view I had while opening the doors and seeing the erdtree shinning in the bottom, with some omniscient giant churches around was so impactful that was just enogh to hook me and get the will to practice enough to defeat bosses in order to explore more of the beautiful yet trhilling world of ER… I just today defeated the fire giant and haven-t finished yet the base game, haven-t started the dlc and yet I am here now as a full converted noob tarnished, best thing is knowing that now on may 25th of this same year a new chapter is coming and I am willing to play it.
despites my dislikes for the dying every 10 seconds mode I feel its a sacrifice to pay to feel the reward after killing a boss, after exploring the vast and misterious world and after meeting some cool NPCs and engage on quests, having to follow forums or guides to know where to go is kinda old and odd but, reminds me when I was a kid and had to read magazines of games to know some tips and tricks, has that real feeling…and best I met Ranni.

  16. very late to this conversation- but elden ring was my first souls game. i was never going to play it because i always thought it was too hard for me, but i caved since i'm going to school for game design. and yeah, it's fucking hard. its the hardest game i've ever played. but is that anyone else's fault but mine? no! is it the game's fault? no! from my understanding, one of the biggest selling points for souls games is the challenge- chasing the high of that perfect doge, seeing massive chunks fall off boss healthbars, and slaying guys 10 times your size. being difficult is the whole point. this game has pissed me off to the point of real tears, but i keep crawling back to it a day or two after alt+f4 and promising i would never play again because i have the desire to actually put it the effort to overcome the challenge. it annoys me seeing these manchildren complain that the game was hard when they knowingly picked up a game that's hard. i don't know why its tough for these guys to just slow down and take the game step by step rather than try to fly through it.

also (forgive me if this was in another video, i've been binging all of your content) but it also frustrates me seeing people complain about the lack of a pause feature for reasons like kids, pets, etc. if your kid is hurt or in danger, i think the least of your worries is dying in elden ring while you go and make sure they're safe. maybe that's a hot take idk

  17. I will never play the game, not because of the graphics, or that it wasn't geared towards me. It's because of one simple reason: I stink. I admit it! These high dexterity games are damn near impossible to me. I prefer more casual RPGs.
