I personally liked the movie, even tho it was kind of disturbing and hard to follow at times. Drinking that stupid psychedelic tea was the fuck-all.. out in the middle of the frozen Adirondacks, with just one other person, isn't the place to have a tea party.
I think you need to be on drugs to understand this movie.

When they were walking down the mountain and said you make a wrong move and end up getting lost. I personally know how that is having gotten lost in the mountains of Montana going in the back country. It got so bad I had my video camera with me leaving a message for my wife at the time in case I died and someone one day would find the camera with tape in it. No good ran out of water and because of where I was. If I went in one wrong direction I would not hit a road or house for 100s of miles. If I went in another wrong direction the nearest city was over 90 miles away and I was in no physical condition having run out of water to last very much longer. It got so bad I put pebble s in my mouth in the hopes of creating saliva because I was so dry. So hearing stories about people getting lost in the woods is easy to understand.
