  1. Damn, now this is a list I can appreciate. Having played almost every game on this list, it's a good list and some of the best games I've ever played.

A special shoutout to Furi though, that game is fucking amazing. The music, the fights, the ending… all amazing.

And people really need to play Control, if they haven't. That game is just so damn crazy.

  2. What I hear from you is "experience" and "immersion" and "emotion" and "narrative" and "sim"
I don't think I heard you talk about gameplay once.
Its the VIDEO GAME industry, not the VIDEO IMMERSIVE EMOTIONAL INTERACTIVE NARRATIVE EXPERIENCE industry
If a good game has a good story, all the better.
If a good game has a bad story, who cares, its still a fun game.
If a bad game has a good story, who cares, its still a bad game.
Literally every single "game" you talked about with the exception of mercenaries and AOM are shit games. Maybe good "worlds" or good "places to visit" or "good stories for a video game", but they're all utterly devoid of gameplay.
    Thumbs down.
    I'd unsub if I could.
Maybe play a few video games.

Tell me, what's the story of tetris?

  3. Age of Mythology "Your friends could come over for lan parties"
Yeah, 90s parents let children take the family PC, monitor, keyboard, mouse, tower and all over to your friends house on the weekends…
Bro 90s parents didn't let you install video games because they thought they did physical damage to the motherboard.

  4. DE:Human Revolution is not a video game
It's a walk around and get soft blocked by random bull shit you don't want to do simulator
    Video games have gameplay
Not hold forward until the end of the game

  5. Brood War
If you haven't gotten into Brood War yet, stop what you're doing and dedicate the next decade of your life to Brood War
Or Quake. Who am I to judge.
What, there are other video games? I thought they stopped making them in 1998

  6. Fun fact to add to BioShock Infinite’s résumé:

Quantum Locking (the mechanism the Lutece’s devised to levitate Columbia) is indeed an established phenomenon. Check out supercooled superconductors along an electromagnetic track.

It certainly wouldn’t work to lift a whole dang city – but the mere fact it was a niche real world discovery of physics that the team based a core narrative mechanic on is just that much more impressive to me chefs kiss

  7. Dude chose some of the most widely beloved games ever lol! If anyone is looking for actual hidden jems, try "Slay the princess", "The Vale", or "Sid Meyers Pirates" last one not hidden at all but it's less known simply because it's getting up there in years lol.
