  1. No Co2 does not deliver O2 to your cells. Red blood cells carry O2 to your cells. CO2 is the biproduct or "exhaust" if you will, of your cells making ATP (energy) by using oxygen. The more work you do the more your muscles and cells demand oxygen to keep up. Having more CO2 will make your PH levels acidic. Not having enough CO2 (like when hyperventilating) will make you alkiline and youll become lightheaded, have carpalpedal spasms, and even blackout.

  2. This is part of the reason why nose breathing is better, since you retain co2 and are never capable to "fully" inhale and saturate oxygen supply.
