People think Sabbath was about devil worship and grorifying drug use. It's exactly the opposite. Sabbath was fire and brimstone preaching, warning of the consequences of sin. They call out war, they call out drug use, they call out evil. And Ozzy was the greatest showman in Rock history. He was a master performer. Dio never stood a chance. Ozzy was not replaceable.
