click erasers are awesome, I bought an amazon basics electric eraser, it was on sale like $10 and came with like 100 replacement erasers
Orange is awesome! I am still on finding one though I do have yellow!
Please try the Uni Kuru Toga from Japan it’s brilliant
The Mechanic Jason Statham
Mechanic Tool hotwheels
I'll have a pencil collection A LOT OF THEM
Kuru Toga FTW!
I used to be a huge fan of the Pentel Quicker Clicker myself – it got me into side lead advance, progressive erasers, and metal tips; but the weak little aluminium clip that held the eraser lost the ability to do so before more than ~60% of the eraser was gone, and the rigid metal tip had a habit of getting gradually jammed up into the the plastic tip body until it was barely there. Then I found the Papermate Clearpoint, which is almost the perfect pencil to me – side lead advance, twist erase, and a retracting metal tip that won't hurt itself if jammed or dropped. Unfortunately, it does have two major weaknesses – the plastic clip built into the top that houses the eraser and twist mechanism will break off within a year or sooner, and worse, the plastic top clips into the brittle plastic barrel via a roughly centimetre long notch, which offers quite the stress riser for a crack to form and propagate from. I see the product now features a "shock absorbing" tip, which may offer unwanted springiness – mine's older and just just telescopes out when clicked, and in when pushed around or with the lead. I also see there's now an "elite" variant, which offers a metal clip, but it looks like it still has the critical barrel weakness.
thats a dope ass tshirt
the rich get richer!

Make a mechanical pencil with steel pipe
For adam and the crew there is a pencil from yard o lead that has an internal lead holder that can be opened and replaced with no ee lead. Its an expensive pencil but it is a mix between the throw away yellow pencils and a regular refillable.
Can anyone send me old version of this just one piece enough for me. Unfortunately, this pen is not sold in Turkey. If anyone can send me even one, I would be very grateful. Thank you very much to everyone here.
HEAVY HANDED WRITERS: The Zebra DelGuard. Give these a look. I can't break a lead with these as they have a spring flex-tip. And you can get them in multiple lead sizes. I use a 0.7mm. That said, I don't sketch and don't rely on precision. But for just writing… I love 'em. Especially for tabletop games like D&D and such.
Ohhhh Ive had a box of those clear papermates for years. They're great for drawing!
I can no longer find my favorite pencil because everyone raided the stores and sent them to Adam 😂😭
I just love your video Adam, you really brighten my day…I too love pencils, from a very young age I understood pencils……your channel is a constant inspiration…!!
So they CAN, and ALREADY DO shoot them in other colors. Look at all those transparent ones!
The Pentel Sharplet 2 is glorious to write with
I have never thought about pencils till now . I want to buy every different pencil on the planet now .
You inspired me to recover the pencil of my youth. Just bought the last four NOS of the Pentel P225 on Etsy. I lost mine over 20 years ago at school, and have missed it ever since. Thin, round, and tapered straight to the tip with virtually no grip or knurling. Just a few tight rings above the cone. Perfection.
Two follow up questions: what is your favourite pen? What is your preferred pencil cup/organizer?
The Mechanical Pencil Rabbit Hole is a deep one…there is no bottom…🙏😑🙏
My favorite growing up was the Berol Automatic 0.5 lead with a spring tip…I cannot find the company anymore…
Pentel Delguard 0.5 lead and 0.3 lead takes care of my mechanical pencil obsessions…for now….
Man I just love your videos. Thanks for being here.
Adam is quickly turning into a modern mixture of Mr. Rogers, Bob Ross and Steve Irwin. Always true to yourself but very mindful of showing sincere appreciation. Also, I can't get enough of watching you geek out over seemingly small details. I love it.
Hey adam, no clue if you read these this far out, but I wanted to drop a thanks anyway for caring about the little stuff & sharing what you care about. The pentel sharplet-2 blue was my dad’s pencil. I don’t think he lost & bought a bunch or had strong opinions like you or I, he just had the same 10 or so for my entire life. I hadn’t thought about that pencil in a long time until I saw this video. He died 10 years ago this past weekend.
He taught me how to be a carpenter with that pencil. He wrote reports to present to my schools board with that pencil. He designed our house with that pencil. I’m an architect now. Building with my dad & watching mythbusters is how I learned to love design & start making swords out of cardboard and duct tape in Jr. High. I cried about a pencil today. Then I ordered 50 of them. Thanks for bringing this pencil back into my life.
yes i had the neon clear ones as a kid! i loooooved them!! wish i still had them. i thought they were cool bc you can see the inner workings of the pencil.
The color he likes is safety yellow / civil defense yellow
rotring 800 is the only mechanical pencil you need. Goated.
Please donate to schools/teachers that actually need those supplies.
I tried these pencils to see if I like and I think I put to much weight on them when writing cause the lead gose back inside after 2 or 3 lines
The rabbit hole of pencils is 2 fold, the implement itself and the accompanying led and the different hardnesses and colors associated with
Adam just took of his glasses so he can read better…
Adam taking off his glasses to read the first letter is really funny 😂
The Pentel GraphGear 500 is my "good" pencil I keep at my desk (don't care for the feel of the 1000, personally), but the Pentel P205 is the one I buy in bulk and keep everywhere I could conceivably need a pencil. Comes in at least a back, a maroon, and a navy blue (or maybe a green, I can't remember). If you're really particular about the yellow color, the 0.9mm P209 has one and the barrels are interchangeable lol. It is possible to bend the metal sheathe at the very tip if you try hard enough, but otherwise they're near bulletproof. My grandfather gave me a P207 back when I was in middle school. Still have that thing and it works as well as the day I got it. A few years later I decided I prefer 0.5mm lead and I've been using the P205 ever since.
If you were wondering, his shirt says TESTED in Japanese, テステド "Tesutedo"
Also, the writing system is Katakana for those of you interested in learning.
