you're right about the influencers, but I'm the only one in my family with abs, and I've had a nice 8 pack since my mid teens by developing my own ab routine, by modifying different kinds of sit ups, crunches and planks. Only started doing weighted stuff recently, and I'm 29
Is there a way to do a weighted crunch without machine? If I hold a dumbbell with both hands would that work?
Yeah but that would require me to go to the gym for those equipment, I don’t wanna do that, is there no other ways to do it with just dumbbells at home?

The gospel: The Bible tells us that we have all sinned & fallen short of the glory of God and since we've all sinned, we all deserve to go to hell. But in order to have this gift, we must put our faith in Christ. In Romans 10:9, it says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord & believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. It's that simple, so if you wish to put your faith in Christ & receive Him, just say this prayer with your heart: "Jesus, I confess as Lord & I believe in my heart that God raised you from the dead on the 3rd day. I believe & accept your sacrifice for my sins & I accept you into my life, let me receive the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name, amen." 2 Corinthians 5:17 says that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new creation. The old man is gone, therefore you no longer have the identity of a sinner, but a saint because of what He has done for us. Now, just because God is forgiving doesn't mean you get to freely live in sin. That would be abusing His grace which is sinful. We are called to repent and turn away from our sins and to bear fruits of righteousness(Gal. 5:22-23) but listen, do not lean on your own understanding and strength to turn away from sin. If you do, you'll fall short and commit pride bc you thought you could do it on your own. No one can. We need Christ (John 15:4-10). Remember to forgive your enemies, for if you don't, Christ cannot forgive you(Matt. 6:14-15). One day time will end, therefore be ready for it. Christ will return. (Rev. 22:12-13). God bless.

My problem is the carbs lmao. I’ve been hitting abs daily for 3 years straight but i still slam a beer & some pasta from time to time lmao. But i can crunch 300 plus pounds easily nowadays

I overdid it with the weight crunch, and last night it woke me up. I felt like my stomach was on fire. 800mg NSAIDs and I finically got back to sleep.
The funny thing is that the abs are a lot like the neck in that most don’t do near enough to stimulate them to grow and so it’s not that hard to get some serious results.
What do you think is best for sports

Don’t take advice about abs from a guy that doesn’t have strong abs. The ab workouts at the beginning of video that he was clowning on are actually very very affective. I spent 3 months with that ab routine as my warm up, and the results were amazing. I lost a ton of belly fat all my 6 pack was on point. I was the most ripped person I knew when I did this routine.

Plank(work your way up to 60 seconds)
Kettle bells walks, one arm at a time
This ab workouts out will smash anything any trainer out there tries to tell you. Within a couple weeks you will see a huge difference in the way your belly looks.
what if you dont have weights but just dumbells because many people like me don't have access to go to the gym and workout at home.
Weighted knee raises are good for this

Almost no one ever has access to cables dude, they are always in use at the gym and rarely does anykne have them at home. Give more options.

I'm at full stack in abs crunches and 22 reps and I don't know how to get progressive overload
I've been doing crucifix crunches for a little while and those have been blowing up my abs. Started at zero doing leg raises, once doing a lot of those became easy I upgraded to the crucifix curls and basically immediately my whole stomach started firming up and getting progressively more defined. Once these are easy maybe I'll upgrade once again to doing what he's suggesting here.
Any advice for the obliques or does this work the obliques as well?
