  1. I am honestly in awe at the amount of videos just like this one where a criminal is released like this and ends up tearing apart more families. All the comments say the same thing calling it out but honestly where do we go from here? What action needs to be taken? There is a serious epidemic of either corruption or just plain negligence from judges and prosecutors in this country and this can't continue.

  2. Debriefs are good, you learn from them mistakes and things that work. But the first thing is one takes overwatch and the other immediately renders aid. I can’t stand watching cops ignoring the suspect in some instances, but for cops to not immediately render aid to one of their owns needs to change and is tragic.

They should all have clotting powder, bandages and tourniquets. It may have not mattered in this instance but we won’t know. He was shot in the head, I would have rather see someone run him to the ambulance, than doing nothing while he lays their dying forever. Maybe they are not used to shootings, but they need to change procedure. Too much mis communication.
I have seen departments all have some aid in their cars, running all communication through the dispatcher who then announces it to all. They all should have known Immediately he had a long gun, cop down critical (maybe go to different channel on that ) shooting blah blah. There was a lot of running around dangerously.

  3. God this hurts so much to watch, I didnt watch it when in came out cause i know it was going to hurt.
Repeal the 8th ammendment and PUT. THE. JUDGES. IN. JAIL. Every single judge that lets out anyone on a fire arm change and they reoffend should be stipped of immunity and charged with mischarge of justice, I want min 10 years.

  4. I’m sorry, but this police department failed this man and multiple levels. So did the judge so did the prosecutor the entire community failed one single officer. It’s disgusting they were running out. They weren’t helping they’re too busy chasing people that weren’t even involved and they could’ve done something. They could’ve thrown him in the car taking them to the hospital they could’ve done anything. They could’ve done compressions they could’ve done anything but they didn’t

  5. Why didn’t they put him in the back of the police car and drive him to the hospital for as long as it’s taken EMS to get there this is absolutely ridiculous. I am freaking out. This man is dying and everyone’s running around.

  6. This is an absolute failure on so many levels. I don’t even understand what’s happening here. I’ve never seen. I’ve never seen such an absolute failure.

  7. The police stalled helping. The judge and prosecutor let this happen!! Every single day we see prosecutors and judges letting criminals go. I thoroughly believe they’re on the take. There’s NO other reason.

  8. I would blame the judge for this officer's Death, if they did their job and locked this scum away FOREVER, there would be one less dead police officer. Absolute incompetent judge and court who released him.

  9. That kind of shit is why communication is taught so importantly in the Marines for when ever there’s anything that you need to take care of in the line of fire… The communication in this case was terrible. Unfortunately the guys were too concerned about the one guy down and and did not pass on pertinent information like the description of the suspect you can say as much as you want about “the heat of the moment” and that’s exactly the moment when you need to be passing on the information. Other dude almost got shot to death because they didn’t know who the suspect was… could’ve shot an innocent guy.
