  1. I'm only 10 minutes into it and am already impressed. This is a good show! Sort of what you'd imagine Earth might be like in the not too distant future if we don't all kill ourselves first.

  2. DREAM IF YOU WANT…BUT MANKIND WILL NEVER LEAVE OUR SOLAR SYSTEM…(At the edge of a football shaped Galaxy, which will take 3 to 500 years to go across at the speed we travel,) THE NEAREST GALAXY IS 100,000 YEARS AWAY…GOD ALMIGHTY EXISTS AND OUR ONLY CHANCE IS GIVING OURSELVES TO HIS SON….R U READY???

  3. I am fascinated by this story. Hooked. Want more. Plus, I adore Mira Furlan, may she rest in power. But I am also disappointed. The series needs more diverse characters & casting before I’d consider this a hopeful vision of the future. A few tokens don’t do the trick. We need to see Black & Brown folks as more than flunkies, servants & tertiary characters. Only 1/7th of the world’s population today is Euro descended and possibly 80% is cis and straight (hard to estimate). If you’re projecting larger percentages of White & straight cis folks in future leadership then you could at least explain how the rest of us were genocided.

  4. Man, you need more than an 80's budget. At the start, when I saw some of the special effects I didn't think I would make it very far but I suddenly found myself at the end of this first episode and wanting to know the rest of the story… I hope this becomes something and isn't just one more "cult" sci-fi show.

  5. Many stars from across the sci fi series, a star trek voyager stargate Atlantis, Babylon 5. Shame the effects let's it down. Even the man under all so many mask from hell boy to star trek discovery series 2022.

  6. You're right: I'm not. Maybe it works for a different crew, but almost all of it so far needs reshooting, and I'm not going to waste my time seeing there's more of that.

  7. Man this reminded me of Jurassic Park when they attempted to take the ring to Mount Doom but the bugs sent an asteroid to Buenos Aires, stunting the whole journey and killing Sebastian’s parents. I love it.

  8. Can't say that I loved it. Interesting topics, but the writing was weak, and lacked some nuance. And his father seemed to be displeased with everything, bravery or weakness.
But the cast is nothing short of EPIC!

  9. With with a higher budget and thus higher production values, this could be good. But like, for example, the opening scene where the ship was crashing, I didn't feel a connection between the shots on the crew cabin, and what was happening outside. Doesn't help that yet again, like Trek, no seatbelts…a crash like that the crew would be bouncing off the ceiling. But add some seatbelts and smoke and explosion effects, and a more realistic spaceship interior…it would be a good opening. One that says "Damn, I wanna watch more of this crazy ass guy!"
