THE BEST STEAK CHALLENGE I’VE EVER ATTEMPTED! | BeardMeatsFood

In this week’s episode we’re in Titusville, Florida at Durango’s Steakhouse…and we’re having a stab at their ‘Oak Fire Grill Challenge’…

Combative carnivores get one sitting (no bathroom breaks) in which to finish a 40oz steak, accompanied by two side of your choice and a miniature loaf of bread. If you can get it down, the $75 isn’t complimentary, but you do get a little plaque on their hallowed wall of fame and a special commemorative mug which entitles the owner to unlimited 99c beers every Wednesday…which is pretty cool…

  1. Good day folks! Thanks for joining me for yet another instalment…

It has been a while since I did a steak challenge, and this one is a bit of a hidden gem…I hope you enjoy it and I’d be over the moon to see you this time next week for another! ‘Til then, stay insatiable, your old mate BMF ❤️

  2. I love steamed broccoli personally. But when it comes to steak I prefer rare. I don't mind medium rare, but I prefer a good dry aged, dry brined steak with some crushed black pepper and a little garlic powder. I especially love a good thick steak about 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches thick. I have a local butcher shop that cuts them like that and dry ages them. They are amazing!!

  3. If you want to eat your steak with sauce then go for it. Eat what makes you happy and screw what anyone thinks about it.
    I dont usually saice my steak,but when i do it's Heinz 57

  4. Dear Adam – this may sound a bit odd — but I've been struggling with depression and anxiety and your videos always take me away from the sadness for a bit! Thanks for the smiles! ❤❤
