This series felt nothing like star wars
I think Disney's biggest mistake was releasing this week by week. I was also scratching my head about the nonsensical motivation, but it was all a part of the show. The whole flashback was a false narrative. It's just sad that Disney's recent writing has been terrible lately, so most of us believed the false narrative to just be bad writing.
2:11 Off topic, but I just noticed that C-3PO had the same dent in his head that Boba Fett's helmet had in Empire Strikes Back. Did Cad Bane shoot 3PO in the head in some unfinished Clone Wars arc, just like Boba Fett? Why does C-3PO have a head dent so similar to Boba's?

The comment about "the universe doesn't accept women like us" or whatever, obviously is Lesbian Headlamp's way of trying to say gay and lesbian people aren't accepted. Yeah, OK, that's why gay people get a whole fucking month of the year, every state in the US allows legal gay "marriage" I quote marriage because I absolutely do not consider that marriage. I actually though this show wasn't too bad, it wasn't as good as say Mandalorian, but it was better than say the Boba season.

Do you want to enjoy a new series better? Don't watch reaction reviews weekly. Gather your own thoughts watching it alone. It stops you from nit picking and becoming wound up by contradictions and inconsistencies.
I watched the entire series without viewing SWT in-between each episode, and thought it was pretty decent. A few episodes were a bit 🥱 in the first half of the series, but you could tell it was building to a decent payoff at the end.
With watching SWT, I'd likely have given it a 4/10, without, I came away thinking 7/10, and give me that season 2 with Plagueis and Yoda going head to head 👏
